    Premier League
    Saturday, 7 November 2015
    15:00 Carrow Road

Following last Saturday's disappointing 0-3 home defeat to Arsenal, the Swans travel to Carrow Road to face promoted Norwich.

Carrow Road is a ground where the Swans have never won in the Premier League, having lost one and drawn on the other two occasions.

Norwich, who are 16th in the PL - 3 places below Swansea - put in a good performance away to Man City last Saturday, narrowly losing 1-2 courtesy of a late Yaya Toure penalty.

Both sides are in need of securing all 3 points. Norwich haven't won since beating Bournemouth at home 3-1 on 12th September, and are now only 2 points clear of the relegation places.

Whereas the Swans only picked up 5 points during September and October (1 win, 2 draws and 4 defeats)

I think that with so much at stake, it will be hard fought 1-1 draw

I am not sure, but I don't think we have got anything from them at Carrow road since we have both been in the PL. I maybe wrong. If we are to get anything out of this we will have to match their heart and passion and they will be flat out getting after us as they will see us as a good chance to get 3 points. If we can match them for effort and fitness we have a chance as I believe we have better players. Though we are pretty poor away from home. We will come away with a point in this in a 1-1 draw.

Although I doubt it will happen, because Monk is in a full court press and desperate for points the next few games , But I'm desperate to see some changes in the starting 10.Our schedule is pretty dire after the next 2 games till Christmas and I can't help but think things are really coming to a head for Monk.
    Hope he's up for it

Norwich will be favorites because they are at home and are on par with us. should be a close match and a draw would be a good result but we are capable of coming home with three points as we play a team on the same level as us.....Drop Ash,Fab and Gomis for this to give them a much needed rest as they are starting to burn out playing every game.....

Indeed. We won't hold any fear for them as it stands. If they score first I see them winning fairly comfortably. But you never know, Monk might surprise us all and drop Gomis and play a more balanced formation :emoticon-0145-shake

I just hope you are right on the Gomis front. However, I think he is blind to how poor he is and if he doesn't realise soon then it may cost him his job.

It's a bizarre situation. If Monk's being inflexible due to stubbornness then it could be a costly mistake but if he just can't see a problem with Gomis at the moment then that's a bigger failing on his part. Either way it's not good but hopefully he'll sort it out pronto.

Norwich have always given us a problem over the last few years, and I can`t see that changing on Saturday.

They give 100% every game, their efforts last the full 90 + minutes, never give up and can score goals from nowhere. They also concede a fair share of goals. They`ve scored more than us & also conceded more. They`re a bit of a bogey team to us. Oh for a team of Gomis`s.*

We CAN win this, but we`ll probably end up losing.

    * That`s a bit of sarcasm.

We must win this game. 3 points are desperately needed as is a good performance.
Normally I'd be happy with a point but we are in desperate times here.

Monk will go with Gomis starting, and we will lose this game, our record against Norwich is not good, and they will be at us from the start to finish, our pansies will cave in again, can only see a defeat, 3-0 to Norwich.............<ok>

I am more optimistic/confident that we will take all 3 points than I was the last time we played the Swans, mostly due to your indifferent form of late but also in part that I don't think much of your strike-force (a loose definition imo), although the Norwich defence is vulnerable as they come.
