If you get Cortese you'll get a bid that's backed up with the right amount of cash. You'll get a monomaniacal chairman with so much focus on success that you won't believe it. Nothing matters except efficiency. He'll drop your history like a stone; he'll see it as just a distraction (Saints are only just getting photos back on the walls after his reign). You'll see ex players thrown aside and you'll see a turnover of (general club) management and staff like you won't believe. I suspect you'll get a new stadium. The money he brings will be whiter than white - no-one shady involved.

So why would he guide the money men to buy you? You still have a large, committed fanbase that'll fill a new stadium. No divided loyalties in Leeds, one club only. That's worth a great deal for the future.

If he buys you you'll be given a clear, stated five-year plan and woe betide anyone or anything that gets in the way. The five year plan will look like pure fantasy and you'll have a good laugh at it right up until the moment that it comes off.

He'll divide your fanbase totally into people who love him and people who hate his distaste for heritage. However, you'll all be united in joy at what's happening on the pitch. The best way I can describe how he was for Saints is: He was a twat but he was our twat.

Hello all ... Cellino is taking the mickey, he knows LUF will never be able to raise the millions needed to buy a majority stake in the club ... remember this, he met LUF to talk about away tickets, and shocked them in the meeting when he said they could buy a majority holding ... next thing LUF come out and say they've reached an agreement in principle for a deal they never asked for nor were prepared for, and it will die a death soon enough ... Cellino is playing games with us supporters, he is nothing more than an Italian Bates ... yet again this clown shows what he's made of, and his maniacal behaviour is damaging our club more and more ... best thing that can happen is for an Italian court to stick him in prison if that's the only way we get rid of him ... there will be a megabucks owner out there who will want to buy Leeds, but Cellino, just like Bates, won't entertain this type of bid because it will mean LOSS OF CONTROL

Didn't realise that it was him who initiated the 'majority shareholding' conversation. Puts a different slant on it for me. Is there a source/link for this info? (Not being awkward - been at sea for a month with very infrequent, dial-up speed internet, so missing most of what's going on).

Jocko, from YEP ... "The supporters group told they can purchase Leeds United from owner Massimo Cellino will today look to determine the price the Italian wants for his majority stake in the club. Cellino told Leeds Fans Utd (LFU) on Friday that he was willing to sell them his controlling interest in United, having grown disillusioned on the back of fan unrest at his ownership." Also from YEP .. "Cellino offered to sell his shares to LFU during a meeting at Elland Road last Friday" ... they were caught completely off guard, which is why no talk of this had emerged earlier, and LUF never ever stated they were meeting Cellino to talk buyout, which is what they would have done to raise more £100 a share sales ... now they are scurrying about trying to raise funds, oblivious to the fact that Cellino won't actually sell to them unless they can raise gazillions ... they must have been shocked when Cellino started to cry in his espresso and offered them a deal ... Cellino's sudden move has been explained as his desire to ONLY sell to supporters (yeah right) as they will have the best interests of the club at heart, which is laughable in the context of his tenure ... I also read in a national paper (can't fcuking remember which one) the actual quote from LUF that they were there on other business when Cellino suddenly offered to sell to them, and next thing they were telling the media they had agreed a deal in principle, although they had no clue as to how much Cellino would want ... crazy!!

Massimo Cellino has confirmed his intention to attend no further Leeds United fixtures. Mr Cellino said: “It pains me to make this decision as I have put my heart and soul into this club. “But what I was subjected to at the Blackburn game left me feeling like I had no other option but to take a step away. “After the time, effort and emotion I have given to the club to try and enable us to move forward, it hurt me a lot to hear the fans singing what they did on Thursday night. “The fans made it clear they believe I am no longer the best person for this job, and for the first time I am starting to think that they may be correct.” - See more at: http://www.leedsunited.com/news/article/16s101pqe9tl01gqaoed7srfyt#sthash.g2yp2ftM.dpuf

LFU have a meeting with Cellino tomorrow.

    LFU want exclusivity

A number of investors are coming forward.

    Surely he'll want best price

Unfortunately LL, he seems to be balancing the books because he isn't paying anyone, that's why the club has so many claims against it.

Same guy who said "I don’t give a damn about what managers or coaches tell me – I tell you, I know. I don’t resign, I don’t give up like other people do.”.

Be ready now for Cellino to punish the fans for wanting him out, no more loan signings, no more investment, we are about to see him throwing all his toys out of the pram and go into a major sulk because he can't get his own way and because fans are waking up and realising he is as bad for the club as Bates and GFH

AT THE MOMENT CELLINO IS FEELING SORRY FOR HIMSELF.

I RECKON HE'LL TURN THE TAP OFF

    Gutless eytie Cnut...
Gets us in this mess and is too cowardly to face up to his responsibilities...
God knows how he crawls back in the very unlikely event of us winning a couple of games and the happy clappies start believing in miracles again...

As you are about to find out he never turned it on.
He has pocketed all the income and bankrolled the club by loaning money to the club.
H makes bates look like a kind benefactor.
