I think Jersey pretty much works for all its people? Switzerland is pretty good too. The falkland Islands works, there are a few it's difficult when you get big and gain uncontrolled migration...

That article conveniently confused turnover with profit. It may well be entirely legit if they were using losses from previous years to limit the amount of corporation tax. You would need to dig deeper than that to find wrongdoing.

It certainly doesn't - when you have members of the States Assembly who were voted in when the turn-out was 20% or others were in unopposed, the Government basically thinks they can do what they like. Although there is a lot of apathy towards party politics in the UK, I think that is what we need on the island.

Was it Galileo Newton or Einstein who confirmed that the trickle up theory does not work?

As a confirmed nasty Tory I get rid of the kids by giving the smallest one a chinese burn. It works every time.

Not really, there was a multi million profit and zero tax paid. If it was simply rolled over losses as the balancing mechanism I'm fine with that but the Russos have most of their allowance as miscellaneous which to me stinks of rotten cabbage...

The million mask march last night in London was similar to previous anti capitalist demonstrations in which police were assaulted and property being damaged. At least 50 arrests were made. Police found knives, smoke and paint grenades, gas canisters and lock picks. Many were wearing the Guido masks of the anonymous group.

Is it not time to only allow demonstrators the right to demonstrate as long as their faces can be clearly identified.

I tend to agree on the question of identifiability - however, the question must also be raised of just how identifiable the police are in these situations.

I think the police have clearly identifiable numbers on their uniforms.

No ..sadly there have been a number of instances when certain police officers at demonstrations have not had visible ID

These folk are sheep not anti capitalist, not pro anything in particular just vulnerable airheads which we have in every generation. It's time that we stopped political tolerance to the extent allowed and clamp down reinstating the term "outlaw", those operating outside the law to lose the protection of the law. Society does not need this tolerance, we kicked the lower echelons of humanity back across the mediteranean in the middle ages and we're allowing them to crawl back and destroy our society and values. If we want to keep a lawful healthy safe and prosperous society it's time to go zero tolerance, give socialists their states to play with, give islamists theirs, but keep Britain British with a pride in our history and a respect for our values. That's not to stop migration but migration should be based on aspiration to abide by and thrive under the values and political system you are migrating too not to change it to a mirror of ones own failed culture.

Is there any evidence to suggest that the demonstrators were any less British than you or I are ? What on earth does this have to do with immigration ?

These "protesters" are calling for a one anarchistic world without borders. I don't give a damn if they can trace their ancestry back in the UK to Adam and Eve, if they don't like British values they can go find somewhere that fits their model. I haven't referred to immigration but migration...

How would you define 'British values' then - I was always under the impression that they had something to do with tolerance.

Respect for law, respect for authority, non tolerance of crime, toil for improvement of the nation, respect for family, right to self improve through endeavour.
