Spectre a great film, I'd recommend. That said I agree with some others that the story line not as good as Skyfall
Saw it on Friday, thought it were great. My second fave Craig film atm. Casino Royale is still Craig's best for me though. Need to rewatch Skyfall. haven't seen it since it came out.
Definitely. Though the rest are still great. Quantum of Solace isn't as bad as people say. It's not fantastic, but not bad. Casino Royale has the best story, action scenes, villain, opening sequence and ending of all of them.
What - you mean the bit where he was shot, falls hundred of feet off a bridge but next thing - without any explanation whatsoever - he's wandering around on his jollies?
He obviously washes ashore and chooses to remain dead to get out of MI6 like he was planning to do at the end of casino royale
It wasnt the washing ashore and keeping quiet bit I was concerned about, more the 'why didnt he die when being shot by a sniper and falling hundreds of feet from a bridge'....
Casino Royale's story is superior to Skyfall in pretty much every way. Skyfall's story is a mashup of The Dark Knight and Mission Impossible with a bit of 007 thrown in. It's still a great film, but nowhere near Casino Royale.
Hmmmm.....'could have'? Of course he 'could have' - aliens couldve swept down and caught him mid-fall a la The Life Of Brian, but I'd suggest 99.99999% of people in that situation would die. And as for the 0.000001 who didnt, if you were M when he turned up wouldnt your first question have been "how the **** did you survive that then?". If he'd said "I landed on a bouncy castle" then fine, but at least tell us.
Erm...It's a Bond film, in real life, barely anything he does would actually happen and he'd have died in the first one.
Well yeah, but normally there's at least some kind of vague and outrageous explanation or we witness an unlikely sequence of events that see him escape by the skin of his nuts. This was never referenced as if it never actually happened!
I was thinking that lol. Like my missus at the end of last weeks Walking Dead as she states something happening was unrealistic. I pointed out its about zombies but there was no reasoning with her.
