Apparently it was one player who needs to be thrown out. Regardless of what you may critically think of Jose's handling of the team (I being one of them), those players are being paid a kings ransom on a weekly basis; point being if they can apply that attitude to Jose then they can do it to any manager - if you're defeatist to start with then there's no point in stepping out onto the pitch in the first place.
