So I nailed a knife into my pinky i dont think it went to deep but i can see the flesh inside as the wound open and closes. So i smeared the wound with hydrogen peroxide and dressed it, will my manliness pay off and I get to keep my finger without going to minor injury unit, as tbh it's far and I don't drive the weather is **** and I'm lazy

Super glue. It was invented by the Septics during the Korean or Vietnam war to close & seal wounds up quickly. <ok>

Oh mate it's not hurting I just got a dressing on it, but my girlfriend reckons it's to deep for DIY job. I had blood sprayed on the floor and fridge haha.

I once put my arm through my back door window as my mother had locked me out after a night on the raz in Whitley (I had my key but could do nothing about the bloody bolt). Sliced my arm open next to my elbow. Although I went to hospital as there was rather a lot of blood leaking and got several stitches.......

I manned up on the Sunday morning after falling asleep in the hospital waiting room waiting for a taxi home I went home only to pick up my rugby kit and play for Seghill against a touring team.

Popped all the stitches first time I got tackled obviously <doh>

Just thank the Lord that it wasn't your manliness instead of your pinky that got it!

As long as you didn't hit any nerves or tendons you should be fine.
My parents made me go to the hospital 2 years back when a wine glass broke in my hand in front of them...I hadn't realised until the nurse asked me to move it, but I'd severed the nerves and tendons in my thumb and needed a 2 hr surgery + 4 months of physio. Point is, don't risk hand injuries, they're pretty useful

Ignore these buffoons. It would be foolish to go to hospital for such a minor flesh wound so what you need to do is cut an ear off. Call the ambulance saying you've cut your lug off and there's blood everywhere. When you get to the hospital and they're bandaging your head just say "Oh, could you have a look at this too please?" and hey presto! Your finger is bandaged up, reputation and manliness intact!

Cut my index with a scalpel when I was 15 and caught a nerve, went to the A&E sat for 2 hours with my hand above my head until it stopped bleeding, got a couple of butterfly stitches stuck on and a bandage, moral of the story, waste of time going just DIY it <ok>
