Just seen the Ferriby highlights.. Wow he looks huge, bigger than Hessleroad and Cousin, just trying to think who was the most imposing City forward ever, Parkin & Francis were a handful, Alcide was a man mountain back in the Division 4 days.. looking forward to Dele bullying defences think things could happen with the odd ball being laid off to Fryatt and co. We missed this type of forward last season, we tried Rowan Vine but he didn't cut it.

    Ben Burgess?

I was a bit younger but he always seemed like a man mountain! I remember when we won away at Cambridge, it was his first game with his shaved head & full beard combo, scared the **** out of the Cambridge keeper who genuinely feared challenging him at corners etc.

I would say Francis. Possibly Ormondroyd?

Kev Francis was a giant, but when it comes to man mountains, I think Parkin was definitely in a league of his own.

Dele will just steamroll defences next season when he comes on for his 20 minute cameo. Nothing I saw last night convinced me he is anything more than a battering ram.

He gives us the physical presence our other strikers don't have, but I'm not setting my expectations exceptionally high.

I think only Alcide and Parkin come close to Dele Adebola ;)

Ormondroyd was big but about as scary as the Japanese womens football goalkeeper!

Just done a bit of research on that Cambridge game. I forgot they had Dave Kitson playing for them that day! Stevland Angus too <laugh>

sorry for taking it off topic, but Kitson's a bit of a giant too!

I am. Just deciding on a replacement. Will probably be Dele or the magic man.

Dele will give us something we haven't had since big Ben Burgess, hopefully he'll have the same impact that Ben had here.
