I think the only reason he was at gills was cause of Ian Hendon.

Yeah to be honest that most likely was the reason but that must of meant that Hendon rated him so why didn't we offer him a contract?

Yeah Ian Hendon had him at Barnet he was at gills and as soon as Hendon was out the door and on the way to West Ham he disappeared,

Would he have been your No.1 keeper then?

I still think Flitney must be given a chance!! Hess obviously has confidence in him. And to be honest I'd rather have this promising Argentinian monster join us at this moment in time.

I must say having a 'argentinian monster' is tempting but I feel Jake is a better all round Keeper.

Jake would have to prove himself to me to be number 1 as he is on level terms with Ross, but whoever shows something better play them but I would have to agree that "Argentinian Monster" would be a great signing.

Can I make a request that we call Gazza by the name 'Argentinian Monster' just in case a older member of the Gills community log on and have a heart attack thinking we are actually going to sign the real Gazza! :p

The Barnet fans reckoned he was always likely to make a mistake in every game. Don't think he was any great loss

Jake Cole, Ross Flitney or 'Argentinian Monster' let's all be thankful we're not still lumbered with the 'Tangerine Dream'! I'm looking foward to a season when our boys at the back don't look scared to death wondering what is going on behind them. Even if the Argentinain Monster speaks not a word of English he'll still be a better communicator than last years incumbent.

Gotta ask ourselves, would we rather have an Argentinian Monster as back up, or go through the loan system with multiple keepers just like we did a few years back?

Anyone remember Larrieu, Flinders, Brill etc etc...

Sod it, what's Steve Mautone up to?
