What are the chances of the 'randomly selected' being all over the age of 93, so they don't ask any pressing questions.

Has anybody else noticed how pointed Muzza's head is?

    PS,

Let me guess, this meeting will be held in the first week of December... just after the Ipswich game on Sky and the Club will say that any protests should be held off until after this meeting ...

Good point. I wonder if Fraeye (I haven't yet bothered to learn the spelling as he'll be gone soon enough) will have been allowed to talk to the press by then.

My guess is that the random selection will be conducted behind closed doors. I leave it to others to comment on the appropriateness of those selected from the fans forum.

I guess the timing will be immediately before or just after the Ipswich game ( if before, the press release will be along the lines of " Compassionate management team in meeting with the fans to address the issues, Bovril will be served free to all fans on Saturday in order to address their concerns" and the Sky commentators can gloss over the issues of discontent).

Perhaps we should draft some proper questions for the poor sods who will be selected to attend the meeting: Starters for 10
    1. Can you explain why the selection process for manager since the departure of Chris Powell has involved the direct appointment of managers only from the Belgian league with little or no experience of the English Championship?
    2. When most chief executives experience failure they go out of their way not to repeat it, why do you continue to repeat the mistakes?
    3. You have stated that the owner, who is not here (surprise) will do things his way. Surely his bank balance must show him that this is not working?
    4. Transfers between clubs in the experiment are not always exposed in detail have the auditors examined whether there are transfer pricing issues between the clubs?
    5. Our success rate on converting the overseas players we have brought in as part of the experiment is woefully poor but we are continuing with the failed part of the scouting operation yet have dispensed with the services of a respected championship scout who had brought competent players to the table. Why?
    6. The declining attendances at a time when our local rivals are ramping up their game with success on the pitch and government subsidy for their new grounds is a perfect storm for the club. People attend to participate in success. How is your business model sensitised to address this issue.

what would you ask them if you were to be invited? me personally i would ask :

what is with the borderline racist employment policy you have? what is wrong with British people that make them not worth consideration? why are belgians in the 3rd tier of their league considered to be better than any british person, including ex legends of this club.

where was the "club" management at when we lost upto 7 of our best players through injury. Has their been an inquest as to why the injury situation got so bad? what are you going to do about it to stop it happening again?

why all the gimmicks? why do we have dancers, a sofa, pie cam, advertisements everywhere? you are losing the brand in all this, these are not things the fans appreciate.

Whoever is ''appointed'' would do well to go through the forums and social media and ask for feedback/questions.

However, I don't see that happening for 1 minute.

The owner will do things his way and we have to understand that. That's what it all boils down to. RM is a non-executive director with no influence at all, and Katrien does what Roland says.I'm sure RM is acutely aware of the fans concerns, and being a football man he will understand them, but so what, Roland won't listen to him and he won't listen to the fans, for whom he has contempt. Roland and Katrien have no football background, but hey, they think Roland knows best. This "discussion" as they call it will be a very frustrating experience for whoever is unfortunate enough to be on the receiving end of of Katrien's latest utterances, and I don't envy the fans who take part.

Would anyone on 'ere actually want to be invited? I think it will be excruciating. Cuddles will go all out to fob off the selected few with a charm offensive, and RM will be there by her side to protect her in case of awkward questions. Roland and Cuddles are calling all the shots, about who, where and when, and that's how they intend it to stay.

It's illogical. Surely they would be best hearing from fans who have not renewed season tickets?

I can't see this meeting going ahead. As things go from bad to worse the fans will be torn between anger and apathy, and since Roland won't come anywhere near Charlton, the anger will be directed at his mouthpiece. Since we seem to be following the Blackpool path it's worth looking at the latest development, which is that the Oystons have turned down an attempt by the fans to buy them out. It seems to be emerging that Fraeye has been Roland's head scout, and so is responsible for the squad which we now have, and which he believes is big enough. In a way it's fair enough, if he thought they were good players, let him prove it, except that he won't.

Meire has chosen to speak through the Fans Forum for a reason. Put bluntly, they are a collection of wallys and old duffers. Savaged by a dead sheep springs to mind. Meire has dealt with them monthly for almost 2 years, and they haven't laid a glove on her.

She needs to hear the genuine anger of our more passionate fans.

I've come to the conclusión the whole thing is just a sham, and we'd do better to ignore it and demand RD come and meet the fans.

I have come to the conclusion that the Club is f*****ed with Duchatelet at the helm.

Someone messaged me yesterday to say that Meire had over 500 e mails from fans last week complaining and warning he not to antagonise people by appointing Fraeye. She appointed Fraeye.

Pointless meeting where certain questions will be dodge or spin put on them from the Puppets of KM & RM.

Questions will be vetted and people given the chance warned not to ask anything outside of what was pre agreed

I am told that the Fans Forum last met several weeks ago, and still have not put up the minutes from that meeting. It's like asking a gummy old sheepdog to attack a tiger.
