Clasie was completely off the pace all of the second half.

But alas, Shane Long is injured.

Your unrelenting positivity would be just what the team needs. Really, go for the job.

I'll take your word for it (I'm not being condescending I genuinely think that's probably true).

What? Is Clasie your boyfriend? Is that why you're so upset? All I've said is we need to get him off as he was dreadful second half and off the pace. You're soft as ****. Bournemouth have been all over us like a rash for the entire second half. It's not negative at all to suggest substitutions. Christ.

Wanyama isn't overly mobile at the best of times. He's just a solid, physical player. But he was everywhere second half to protect Clasie. Clasie can't win anything in the air and isn't physical at all so it was ridiculous expecting Wanyama to cover all the ground and do all the physical work.

Looks like we are going to win which is the most important thing, but that's not to say it doesn't matter. Because it's arguably got Wanyama sent off and meant we've been under huge pressure all half. Once the mould set for the second half we couldn't escape it.

Yes dear, he's a very energetic lover which is why he was so tired today.

We've been sloppy from top down in the second half, and Bournemouth have been excellent in their application, if not so much in quality, thankfully.

Clasie may have been tiring, but to somehow blame him for the second half and Wanyama's sending off is absurd, even for you. I'm just surprised you haven't managed to blame something on Yoshida yet (who's done well, but I don't expect you to ever write something positive).

Excellent performance from the defensive unit all game - both full backs in particular I feel were excellent. The attacking unit have been appalling in the second half, and Mane in particular just looked like he couldn't be bothered.

Davis man of the match for me

    97% passing completion
    5 tackles
    1 goal

And pressed hard all game which the stats don't reflect. He also filled in for the likes of Mane and Tadic at times very effectively.

Who's going to post a backhanded compliment on the Cherries board? Something along the lines off "You were worthy opposition/ we're too good/ keep this up we could have a genuine rivalry in 5 years time"?

We made Bournemouth look like Barcelona second half.

    Indeed.

Had to go out mid way through the 2nd half for a few minutes. My only real concern today has been if Victor had the discipline to carry that yellow card through the match. I'm bound to say that Ronald had more faith in him than I did, because I would have brought on either Oriol or James to get some bite back. Of course, Ronald is also juggling a bit to give Jordy more game time. He'll only learn in situations like this.

Anyway, 2-0 FT. I can watch it all later in HD comfort.
