Now that's interesting, the team is in and it looks like we are going with wing backs. Stearman, Ream and Burn all start with Husband and Fredericks as wing backs, a midfield three of O'Hara, Tunnicliffe and Cairney with Ross and Dembele upfront.

Interesting for Kit to give this ago in his position, maybe a last throw of the dice???

Though has just been pointed out to me that it could be a 4-4-2 with Ream at left back and Husband left mid, but if that's the case surely Garbutt would be at let back?

Kit has done it SuperBri - he appears to have gone three at the back in a 3-4-1-2 formation.

Apologies Cookie - I was busy posting the one above and missed yours. Reckon he has gone for the 3-4-1-2 when on the offensive and 5-3-2 when defensive. And for the first time in a while he's had a full week working with them to get it right ... hopefully!

4-0 now. I'm not convinced by this 5-3-2. Hard to see where the goals are coming from! COYW!

    That was unexpected.

Congratulations - yet again we won all the stats apart from the one that matters and your efficient finishing punished us.

Cheers redandwhite. Your absolutely correct about the stats but give me the goals; 13 at home, 13 away. Not bad,eh!

We are always capable of scoring and doing that to anyone on our day, we have that bit of quality upfront in McCormack and Currently Dembele and a pretty creative midfield so I'm always confident of getting on the scoresheet, it's the keeping them out at the other end that's the issue. We are top scorers in the division this year and even in the debacle that was last season we scored enough goals to stay up despite conceding the most goals in the country ( bar Blackpool).

A tip if your a betting man.... Anyone who has done a weekly bet of both teams to score in Fulham games over the last 15 months has been a big winner.

Man of the Match is up on the website and for me this a hard one, the options are Dembele, Burn, Husband, Tunnicliffe???? Surprised Ross isn't there as an option he scored a 25 yard free kick, also got an assist for the same goal (fantasy rules) and played a key part in Fulhams second. Anyway for me it's between Husband and Dembele despite Tunni's great finish Husband had two assist to his name but Dembele had two goals to his name to be honest putting it like that I think if has to go to Dembele, he 's a young striker whose job it is to put the ball in the net and he is currently doing that.

Spot on nice to see it work. Thought Husband was MOTM. Followed closely by Dembele. Enjoying my evening in Bristol after that.

I just voted for Husband as man of the match, having watched the highlights it was husband who got the assist for McCormacks free kick giving him 3 assists.

Must agree with Cookie,we are certainly more fluent and confident, but still some tinkering at the back is required.
But having said that I think Lonergan is a great improvement on Betts who not only appears more assured, but
seems to have both better positional sense and distribution.

Cracking display with Husband, Cairney, O'Hara, Tunnucliffe & Frederics overwhelming for 45 minutes. Bristol got a little wise at half time, but got nothing back, except for a silly late goal.

Husband certainly seems to deserve the praise. Was a bit worried the way GJ described his injury but it looks as though it might only have been cramp. The local paper had this from Kit -

"James Husband was forced off in the dying moments, but Symons doesn't believe there's a huge concern saying: “I don't think (it's serious). James had to get forward and get back. I think he was shattered to be honest.”

Don't know how long his loan spell is - I've seen a "story" it's only until 8th December - but hopefully the Club will do something permanent in January.

Reading the Bristol forums it has been mentioned quite a hit that Fulham best them on the pitch but also off it with fans stating Symons out did Steve Cottrill tactically changing to a wing back system, just thought I would mention this view from opposing fans as a lot of Fulham fans think Symons is clueless tactically.

Seen reports that Moussa’s two goals were “tap ins”. That seems an over simplification; he had to be in the right place and each was taken with a deal of composure, especially the second when he even managed to send the keeper the wrong way. They also demonstrate that he’s a natural, a predator.

As many have said, his is a contract signing that’s critical (like Jimmy Husband’s). There ‘s no doubt the Club are trying – this is Kit’s latest comment to the local paper:

Dembele was the star of the opening 45 and Symons is delighted with his progress. The Welshman said: “He's a bright young player at a football club where he'll be worked and developed. The coaching staff know him well. He's got Alan Curbishley who can give him help and advice.”

Interesting that he should go out of his way to mention Curbs. That aside, are they doing absolutely everything necessary to get the young man to sign? However unpalatable it might be, money talks. Are we really not prepared to open up treasure chest to make it happen?

Kit did get it spot on with the new starting formation - Bristol were absolutely shell shocked (a bit like Reading last week). OK, Cotterill partially neutralise some of this threat in the second half, but Fulham had chances to score more. So credit to Kit where it's due.

Bet Burnley will be looking at the video VERY carefully - good it'll make a good distraction for them.
