Let me know when this potential buyer turns up.
Best hope is that these scammers are going to be a stalking horse and a real buyer steps in....
But can't see it with GFH still involved, and Cellino digging bigger holes every minute.
We will be in admin and relegated before there is a serious buyer.
Cellino will get pennies for his "investment".
No other way the can be concluded in a way that leaves us with a club capable of moving on.

Not happy about it, but imitating an ostrich isn't the way to go. Shocked that a bright bloke like you can't see it.

I agree and admire what they are trying to do but allowing your heart to rule your head never works. I know it sounds like I am against the idea, I'm not, I am just being honest in saying it can't and won't work without a big money man or two being interested.

If we hear that someone with a few million is ready to step forward and they want the supporters to have a voice and share with let's say a 2-3m investment between them I will be on board myself.

Without that money man it isn't possible, take Children In Need or Comic Relief, the amount of fund raising they do and the people they have on board, last year they raised around £36m.

Fans cannot raise enough to buy Leeds United without the big investor and then if we started losing let's say £1m a year how are we going to stay afloat, there are so many complications, it just can't happen.

Youre doing a great job for LFU. Youre opposition will likely lead to several new shareholders. Well done <ok>

Of course they need big investors but have previously claimed they have those ready to get on board. So my point is, lets wait and see. All will become a lot clearer soon enough Ristac <ok> Im reading this is to get lots of media attention in coming week so who knows what that may flush out

I imagine there is a few wealthy backers lined up as part of it all. Don't know though.

I was wrong about GFH. I still can't believe we found the only Arabs without a pot of their own to piss in.

I wanted to be wrong about Cellino, Haigh, Silvestri, how ****e our team are, how we are getting worse. I anted chesh and Boggers to be right.

But there is no way on earth I am wrong about LFU. They are been used as a diversionary patsy by Cellino. Look what's happened, the heat is currently off Cellino and still our club continues to burn. Got to say he is playing the gullible section of the fanbase as if they were a bass guitar.

If there was a big investor I would have assumed he would be fronting a deal with the supporters united group in the background and they (supporters united) wouldn't have had the clauses in place on page 7

Supporters United also (if I read correctly) stated £10k was maximum one person could invest. Anyway, bottom line is I agree with your point we can only wait and see, I feel I know the outcome and hope someone else like Pearson really is waiting in the background

    Ever heard of Huw Jenkins?
    Fans own 20%
That was the model LFU were trying to copy when they FAILED to get the money to buy out GFH.

    • Swansea City Supporters Trust currently owns 21% of Swansea City Football Club but if there is further investment in the Club this shareholding will be reduced unless we can raise more money!
    • Swansea City Supporters Trust raised almost £10,000 in 2009/10 financial year to take advantage of a share offer which took the Trust shareholding within the club to 21%.
Isn't a drop in the ocean to what we need

Don't be bringing facts into it. Eire is struggling enough when just using rhetoric.

Because we want to all believe there is light at the end of the tunnel.

Sad thing is unless we get that big buyer who wants to run us properly then 30-40 years from now when most of us are dead the next crop of supporters will accept that they support a mediocre football club in the lower divisions as they will have known nothing else.

The last time I invested was for the bond scheme which was done to help fund I think the building of the East stand. Think it was 500 pounds. Personally I'd prefer someone with a genuine interest in the club who has plenty of dosh. I hope something is sorted out soon, but I'm not going to hold my breath.

How much of your £500 did you get back?
How many times you used the East stand!

I didn't do it for that. I did it because of my the love for the club, TO HELP THE CLUB AND TO FEEL PART OF THE CLUB. I did get money off my season ticket for a few years. Why do you have to expect to get something back.

Its easy for some that live a handful of miles from the ground. They dont understand true support like ours and the dedication required.Thats why some of the local supporters always expect something back <ok>
