They did the same for the last match. Embarrassing. Shows you how biased the English media is towards certain players.

Definitely much better given he now has less space to cover.

Should still be looking st upgrading but he's been good under Klop!

I need to rewatch the game I don't remember him being awful, I remember him putting in some good crosses.

Just finished watching the game again. He was awful. He kept falling over and losing the ball.
For Chelsea's goal all he needed to do is keep up with Azpi but dived in and horribly missed. Still blame Moreno letting Ramires through

Moreno and Milner both at fault. Shame BT sports only crucified Moreno though.

Milner won't be here for long - he cannot play central midfield, and he's not quick or technical enough to play in the attacking 3/4.

He can put in a decent cross every now and again. Perhaps we need to take the captaincy off of him as maybe he feels the pressure?

That could be demoralising and make things worse.

Demoralising for Milner maybe, but not for the team.

Origi was told to stay at melwood instead of travelling with the first team.

    Klopp is ruthless.

    The Echo ...

Klopp said it would be more beneficial for him to stay and train at melwood than travel.

I think Milner, Skrtel should have done better for the goal as wel as Moreno.

But overall,Skrtel was really good yesterday. As was Sakho - an interesting fact, Sakho made 11 passes in the Chelsea third! And completed all of them - no Chelsea player made as many passes in the final third.

Such a great performance and result. Fully deserved 3 points. Thoroughly enjoyed it because we had a game plan and it was a plan that we didn't change even after going a goal behind. The players kept their cool and fought back.

As a target man and in the air, Benteke is really good and gives us that option. I'm still convinced that a Sturridge type is a better fit for us as the lead striker but if we have someone like Benteke on the bench, I won't complain (I'll try not anyway!).

Give Milner a bit of time gents.

Granted he hasn't been great but lets stick for the meanwhile.

Its always easy to say "so and so is better" but we need a squad, not just a first 11.

    Also important is his experience.

He has loads of league experience - actually winning the league along with major European ties which most of our players do not have.

He needs to improve but he has quite a bit to offer.

Sakho's distribution yesterday was world class, made the most passes on the pitch too (76 - 92% accuracy) always looked to pass forward.

Are there any other defenders in the league good on the ball as Sakho? ...

Don't get me wrong, Jimmy-I love the guy- but I think you might be building him up a weeny bit too much. There are some areas of his game that still need work.

He can get caught in possession.
His accurate passing is dependent on him getting his feet and his body shape right so if he's not given time he can struggle there.
He has occasionally been bullied by a big cf. Gestede gave him a hard time.

I'm happy when I see his name on the team sheet. He's a good player and he has massive potential, but he's not the finished article just yet.

    Fair points.

Ah well, I'm in a good mood. Been a while where we've put in such a good performance in all areas of the pitch!
