Hmm you could be right about the failure issue - a main feature of this season has been the instability re selection esp starting without matic & Fab; admittedly they haven't been outstanding but to replace them both suggests guesswork ...the photo of Jose & his faithful lieutenants at the post mortem seems to confirm it.
In the ref's defence, it does get announced "a minimum of" however many minutes. If he's thinking 2 1/2 is about right then they announce 2, I think.
Many supporters complain about added on time when it works against them. They are less vociferous when the opposite is true,and their team benefits.
I don't normally single out individual players but Eden Hazard has been bloody awful this season compared to his brilliance of last season. We could have been 2 up had he continued his run through the centre at the Scouse defence instead of passing left. Last season he would have beaten the last defender and got a shot in or been brought down for a penalty.
Has to be the most dramatic loss of form by a team in the history of the Prem. How does a team go from winning it while pulling up, and 3 months later are a complete (notable exception..Willian) shambles ? I'm afraid that, like Jose at the moment, i aint got no answers. What i would say is that after looking up a few betting markets, we have drifted from 9-2 favs to 13-2 to win the F.A. Cup. Starts in January, team sorted by then (hopefully), and new players in from the window, as they say on A.T.R......get on !!!
Indeed, Willian has been superb this season and he's the one now attracting the heavy marking and tackles when it was Eden Hazard last season. Begovic is always busy in goal with the defence in front of him often a shambles.

I don't think the first goal should've counted. As soon as it hit 47 Sakho had the ball on the half way line so I expected him to finish the half then. Shouldn't be an excuse for another shambolic performance though. We were outplayed, outfight and were out of ideas as soon as they scored a second. The one positive again was Willian who should be asking for a move in January to a team who looks interested in playing football. At the minute we haven't got a clue.

Mmmm, from what ive seen mikel and rlc have similar passing ability but rlc looks for forwards passes a bit better, where as JOM, is all about ball retention. As i think we both said rlc is a good shout cos he'll get on the ball and drive with it up the field and thats why hed be better than JOM imo. If anything id go to a rigid ancelloti like 433: stick wilian and kennedy way out wide, have costa through the middle, oscar/ramieres pushed up, and rlc and matic making up the 3.
