I'm sure that made sense in your head somewhere but I'm afraid it's nonsense as per your earlier post. It is absolutely the message. He's right, it's what's happening on the pitch. Not rocket science mate. The fact you don't like him doing it publicly is neither here nor there
You've been bitching about it before the season even started. So what's new there? The manager is not going anywhere. Not now! So shut up and support the team and stop sounding like a broken record!!!
Don't agree with that tbh. That's the same rationale that sees Lawrenson, Thompson et al refuse to ever say or hear a bad word about LFC. It just embarrasses the club if legends are so one eyed like that. Pretty sure Scholes is not an ambassador for the club anyway, and even if he was he's as entitled to an opinion as anyone else if he feels the current manager isn't doing right by the club. Also pretty sure Gary Neville is an ambassador for the club - didn't stop him criticising us as a being like a pub team last year.
Neville was a bellend for doing that as well though. The thing is, van Gaals not going to accept it. He sees them as cowards for going to the media. If there's an issue he encourages his players to come to him, same with his staff. He wants his players to ignore ex players and the press precisely because of this. Scholes saying were rubbish and its all van Gaals fault is a bad thing. It's wrong in every way. The players start to believe it and stop believing in themselves and then the manager. That was the worst bit of punditry Neville has done, he's done nothing like it since. In fact he's been more positive than most and taken a step back to see the bigger picture.
It's amazing that Mourinho is still worshiped in the media even with the debacle he has gotten himself into and with no one to blame. When Chelsea packed the bus and won, they still showered praises on Mourinho as a genius and marked it as stuff of champions. But I when United topped the table, there were actually more questions than answers about LvG. It seems regardless of what LvG does, then approach of TV pundits is find fault before praise. I just can't believe Scholes defended Rooney yet slated the manager. He had a throughput pass by Martial yesterday and he couldn't even get his legs around the ball. I guess that's the manager's fault again. Comical!! However, what is LvG's fault is his stupid insistence on playing Wayne when he continues to offer very little up front. Martial should be our main striker with Rooney a distant number two.
