Of course I am very happy with the win, but even more so with the manner of it. There were complaints earlier in the season that we didn't create enough chances, but today we had 20 shots and could quite easily have scored another one or two. "From the start we were basically second best. They were better in every football department and totally deserved to beat us." Slaven Bilic
Probably the first game apart from the Newcastle one where we dominated/// and we did it with some ease.....
I was concerned on how all the new faces would impact on team spirit. But it's obvious that worry was misplaced. There is still work to be done on the final ball in the attacking third. But we look solid and composed otherwise. Of course there will be bumps in the road ahead but I think we will survive with some comfort.
Players who looked ragged and iffy now seem to be fitting in well and knitting as a team.. and subbing was great today
Two West Ham fans sat in front of us in the Rookery. Although well behaved Darren and Cameron had a shocking day out. Problem is they had seats that 'orns fans should have had. Not really fair dont you think?
Reading on a West Ham forum that some had managed to get tickets from Watford family and friends, I did wonder how. They hoped they wouldn't be jumping up too much when their team scored. They never found out of course.
