Early morning horror show over here to find out we are 0-4 down at half time against Fulham. Are we having another off day at the office or should this be a wake up call, amongst many others this season?

Not what was on the tin and if we continue to lose this one then it's time for someone to face the music and confess that we are not ready by any standard.

Awful, I can't decide which was worse, Today or the game Vs Reading, however complete overreaction yet again by some fans, on Monday we were probably getting promoted but today we're going back down :emoticon-0108-speec

Need to start putting some results together and Wolves could be it. If not then we are heading for more trouble than I think we can handle.

Today first half was boys against girls, second half Fulham just sat back and we still could not score.
Bottom line loose against Wolves in the same way then you have to look at what is going on and decide is that the way you keep going or do you change it.
Fulham and Reading were both miles ahead of us play wise.

First 3 goals were their first 3 chances. We didn't play too badly In their half bar the lack of goals. However we were too wide in defense and had no cover leading to their goals plus a few other close calls. We were far better than we were against Reading and MK Dons today. The subs were dissapointing and late but I don't think 4:1 was a fair score

1-0 down before we had seriously touched the ball- Defence caught cold on our right side once again- 2-0 from a howling error by Flint, no chance with the goal after that. 3-0 from a super free kick, free kick given away after first being done for pace. 4-0 from an excellent lob on a once again exposed defence.

Between 1-0 and 2-0 we were the only side in it. To be fair, I didn't think we ever gave up. We were better that we were against Reading and MK but outclassed particularly for pace in the first 35 minutes.

Kodija was a class apart and Smith had a decent game, Bennett had a much better 2nd half and Freeman showed good touches but beyond that, none showed any championship class-

For me, all errors that we have seen happen separately in different games, all happened at once in the first half. Errors punished and whist 4-1 did probably flatter Fulham, we were well beaten on the day.

Ive no problem with the formation but our 3 defenders must understand that their main priority is to defend and not advance like the Alamo. At one point our right sided C/B Ayling was attacking up the left wing, having said that things just not going our way, at 2-0 denied a clear penalty and missed some great opportunities. Need better decision making in defence and attack.

So Cotterill is still telling us and the world after that display that it was just Fulham's superior finishing but we were the better team.
He is totally deluded! That was crap defending. I can forgive Flint's clanger but once again Ayling is wandering around the pitch like a free spirit when his absolute priority is being a defender. He is leaving such a big gaping hole when he goes a wandering.
Not trying to highlight him, just his indiscipline.

This team has relegation written all over it.

PS. Saw Alan Curbishley there and told him that every time we discuss City manager on the forums, someone always claims to have seen him in the Bristol area during our search for a manager.

It pains me to say it, but Flint is out of his depth at this level.
Wolves are back on the up, and Tuesdays game is a big one...

My take on yesterday, at least the 80 mins I could stomach. Defense, was shocking, opened up time and time again. Flints lack of pace left us totally exposed again and again. Ayling had a poor game and so did many others. Kodjia needs to spend a few training sessions using his left peg and his goals per chances rate will improve. Wilbraham, Flint, need to be dropped. even Freeman could do with a spell on the bench. A stubborn manager and not enough quality throughout the squad will be
    our ultimate downfall.

Completely agree with this, I like Ayling but he should be playing as a full back in this division, the gaping holes yesterday were amateurish in the extreme.

We are better than the side that went down 3 years ago

I dont think we'll be going down but finishing roundabout 16th

Its part of a tough season fighting relegation. The shrills will overlook the good and concentrate on negatives without real rationale. Yesterday was a poor performance among recent performances that have been reasonable to quite good. .

I'd say, Rotherham, Charlton, Bolton, MK Dons, Preston, Leeds, Finish above 3 of these we'll be ok, It's a mini relegation league between us and those teams
