Anyone else having to abandon their homes from about 4:30 onwards to avoid the onslaught of begging kids knocking at the door?
I hate trick or treat with a vengeance. Demanding money with menaces. Just off to wire the doorbell to the mains.
Im almost off to a huge Day of the Dead event. Last year there were about 10,000 people that went to it. I got a couple nice prints last year at it and I might get a couple more today.
I'm 24 and can't remember it been anywhere near as big as it is now when I was younger. It seems to have really caught on during the last 10 years.
My dog died this summer, at the age of 13. She hated people knocking at the door. She killed rats, grey squirrels, chickens, pheasants. No kids ever called here. I'll have to handle it myself this year.
Mrs & the daughter have been out shopping. She asked the youngest & me to sort the pumpkin. She wasn't impressed, but we've had no knockers & had eaten all the sweets anyway, so **** 'em. No sense of humour some people.
