And did you know that the referee blew his whistle before the allocated time had been played out, in our match against Chelsea.? It's true. All 5 or less seconds of non-play. Guess he was feeling sorry for Mourinho. :)

Well that's pissed me off a bit. Chelsea 1-3 Liverpool. Come on Jose, what's going on.?

It's going to be wall-to-wall Klopp for the entire weekend now, and I'll end up going off him.

Honestly Chelsea...losing 3-1 again. People will think Liverpool are as good as us, for heaven's sake.<yikes>

Joking aside...can anyone explain to me how PL winners can be so bad this season. Something fishy in the state of Denmark.

That must be the most damaging of the lot for Jose, but I still think he'll stay there.

Not heard any after match reports, but did Jose go off on one, especially about the extended injury time (first half) and the Lucas incident?

Regarding the third goal, did I imagine it or did the rules not change to allow goals to actually be given as offside, if the offside player could be considered to be in the keeper's field of vision? As in Lallana jumping over the ball.

The second goal was a smash and grab, as Liverpool were being pushed further and further back by the minute.

Oh, I'm sure they'll be he best thing since sliced bread for 5 minutes. Might be worth especially noting the amount of coverage they get this weekend just to see what having an exotic rock 'n roll manager does for their profile.

As far as Chelsea are concerned, I think a few players have started the season under form, crucially 3 of their back 4, Ivanovic, Cahill and Terry, and this has spread to the rest of the team such that they have almost no confidence at all. Key players are simply not performing now. Confidence plays an incredible part in a footballer's make up, perhaps more so than the average person, and the Chelsea players are playing without it now. It can be almost as disasterous for players of great ability as for players with less because ability comes out when confidence is high. Mourinho is still untouchable, so he can buoy up his players, but only for so long, and not for 90 minutes. Last season, Chelsea would play similarly to the way they are doing if they went ahead, if they weren't playing well, but last season their back 4 wall was super solid. Now it has crumbled, and that's the core reason why they are failing. I didn't realise how much they needed John Stones. Still, Everton need him just as much.

If you tune into Final Score on iPlayer or below, you'll probably be able to swing back the pointer to 15:17 and Jose is interviewed by the BBC: http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/live/football/34215071
Choose Live Coverage and then Final Score.

He looks and sounds bemused, unable to say anything because his words may be taken out of context. His pride is getting battered and he's finding it really difficult to handle it. He's never known this situation and he doesn't know how to deal with it. He's already been criticised for not being magnanimous in defeat, but that's silly to pin it on him alone. I hardly ever have seen managers of glamour clubs being magnanimous in defeat, especially against other so-called glamour clubs. He needs some fresh players to come in during the January window, if only to break the cycle and change the atmosphere in the dressing room.

Injury to Courtois hasn't helped either. Plus a Hazard and Fabregas both looking in need of a long rest.

True, but Begovic is an able deputy. Chelsea are letting the opposition get to the goal keeper far too much, that's the real problem. As to Hazard and Fabregas, they need to keep themselves in better order. It's possible they are mentally tired, which means they need to be dropped entirely for a couple of weeks for their own good. Chelsea can cope with their absence. They can barely do worse, after all.

I think that would be a wise move (probably about two weeks ago!)

Certainly wouldn't surprise me about Fabregas. Saw a shot of him looking dejected as he trooped off after our match with them. He looked old and tired. Tired I can understand, but he was drained.

Just as I was feeling a little bad about enjoying the Chelsea 'meltdown' Jose comes on and is a sulky, childish s**t.

Man up for god sake and say something like "we didn't play as well as we could" or "luck was aginst us but Liverpool took their goals well".

It's not the results that would shame me as a Chelsea fan, it's him. No class.

WHU were being described as the Away Kings prior to kick-off. Does that title switch to us after today.? :)
