Don't understand why chav fans are so distraught by their current predicament. They are just back in the position they were 10 years ago, pre money. They should be quite used to it.

 

They shouldn't have sacked the fit one

 

Can't really fault any of our players today, fantastic overall performance. Worked hard, pressed together and defensively solid apart from those opening 5 minutes.
I thought Lucas and Can did great today; weren't bullied, kept the ball, filled in defensively, pushed forward and supported attacks. Controlled the midfield.

I'd say we weren't a great goal threat until Benteke came on, but still played very well. He's a game changer.

 

Game changed for better when Benteke came on. Having an actual forward on helps.

Happy that Benteke is looking better under Klopp.

I take credit for our win because I said Coutinho wouldn't get two. You're all welcome.

Skrtel absolutely class. He gets bashed when he makes mistakes but rarely gets the praise when he does well. Bit like a poor man's Carra really though. Excellent defender who makes high profile blunders at times.

 

He worked hard, no doubt. Just hardly noticed him if I'm being honest. Milner isn't a scape goat - he's just sh*t!

But anyways, we actually played with a game plan and stuck to it - even after going a goal down. and the subs were perfect!

 

Most have only supported the club for 10 years that's why

 

The two centre backs did well today. Full backs were caught out a few times but cannot fault Skrtel and Sakho.

 

Milner and Lallana can play **** every game if it means we win 3-1

Lallana wasn't that bad...he linked up well with Firmino and Coutinho and ensured we kept the ball nicely in tight areas when Chelsea tried to press. Might not have unlocked the defense, but he fits Klopp's style well of needing technical players who press high, win the ball then get rid of it in tight areas.

 

McManaman got it spot on there. Mourinho lacks class.

 

I couldn't believe Klopp took Milner off. Rodgers would never do something like that.

Changed the game. As did Mourinho took mikel off for Fabregas. They lost the midfield when that happened.

 

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp speaks at his news conference: "We had not the best start, that's the truth. We had our moments, our build up with short passes was very good. They tried to make pressure but we could play in the spaces in between.
