Impeccable timing, wonder when the Klopp clamour will die down!

Lambert should have stayed, he'd be getting loads of game time.

No cutting edge and a leaky defence; a change of manager will not make Liverpool world beaters.

Would he though? Not sure they would have faith in him and perhaps like Bony, a lack of game time has cost him his top game.

I'd rather Rickie than Flamingo and the other powder puff 'attackers', but saying that, its far more enjoyable watching them suffer with RL out of there.

Liverpool need to score fast, if Chelsea settle then it is game over.

My logical preference is for a draw, but despite an undeniable liking for Klopp, I'd also like to see Chelsea bury Liverpool under a mountain of goals. I surprise myself by my dislike of Liverpool these days. I can do it with almost no effort at all. :)

I remember people saying the same when they scored first against us!

That goal came 30 seconds after the allocated stoppage time had been played. Will Jose kick off again?

They just said on Sky that Chelsea were sitting back after going a goal in front....just what they did against us....and voila!

You could see the steam beginning to come out of his ears as he disappeared down the tunnel! I think Clattenburg is one those refs who don't like blowing for time while there is an attack in progress, which I think is fair enough (except when it's against Southampton of course).

If he does it should be against the players...I get really annoyed when players are already in the dressing room having a cuppa when the game is still going on.

Well well Tom. I'd have thought as a referee you'd know that the allocated time is "a minimum of..."

    :)

It is but I was very surprised Clattenburg played on after 2 minutes were up. There were no injuries, no major stoppages and there was ample opportunity to blow up while the ball was in the middle of the pitch.

I listen to 5 Live a lot (no SKY - never will be - or BT TV) and recently Alan Green in particular has been questioning the now standard 1 minute of extra time, even when there have been no stoppages. He mentioned it on Sunday during the Saints game and during the mid-week commentary. Anyone else noticed?

You need to learn to not question the referees decisions Tom. They're only human <laugh><laugh><laugh>
