I've replayed it a few times mate and it's different to his normal style.

I think he'd already made his mind up before the game kicked off.

Your first ITK bit is more compelling than a man who had some tarts britches down, so is it to be Smug Holmes or if you are not that confident yet, how about Smug Watson.. :emoticon-0126-nerd:

@Smug in Boots I'd really love your #10 to be true as much as I hope you're #18 not to be.

I'm always looking, or hoping, for the best in people.

Nah, I dont think he meant the aeroplane gesture to mock the two lads who died on the Malaysian flight. The rivalry between SAFC and NUFC is ****in intense and there is a lot of hatred there... but some things transcend football, and that occasion was one of them. AJ may have been seething with the away fans for singing ***** songs, but John and Liam had nothing to do with that, so doubt he was mocking them. More like he used his celebration he has used before, with hatred in his eyes, and made a point of celebrating in front of the NUFC fans as a "**** you - 6 in a row! ****s" kinda thing

I don't for a second believe he was mocking the 2 lads but he couldn't possibly be unaware of the significance imo.

He didn't just run along with his arms outstretched, he ran straight for the Newcastle support, the length of the pitch, and 'dipped his wings' a couple of times. This wasn't a spur of the moment thing for me, he'd already decided on his celebration before the game.

None of his team mates had a prayer of catching him.

Dont think we'll ever really know, but the Mag Slayer prob knew he was going to score and what he was going to do. When one of the lads tried to jump ojn him, he pushed him off and ran the length of the pitch, wings out, and straight for the away fans. One thing is clear though... this settles the "but he is a Mags fan from when he was a kid" debate. Lad is a Mackem through and through!

I honestly think the lass is bullshitting about the alleged 'rape' tbh. Started as a bullshit to her mates, her dad caught on, got the cops involved and looking for a high profile scalp spent a fair few quid on the case. If they had concrete evidence that he had done something like that, he would be locked up playing the wobbly board with Rolf Harris. The fact it's dragged on, he's playing footy, and looks pretty care free kinda indicates to me that he is innocent. That's the way it is, innocent until proven guilty.

As for the celebration, I think he loved giving it to the skunks. Even the camp wave at the end, could tell he loved the victory! 6 in a row! Mags can stick the ****in 5under1and up their arses the ****s!

Had a few rums waiting for the match tonight, some words have been evading me. Meant to say statutory rape, which is basically what it is if he's convicted, even if he argues it was consensual.

Disagree totally mate. How many times do players, regardless of yellow cards, remove shirts? It's a moment of celebration and nothing else.

Smug. Lay it on the line mate.

Just what are you suggesting that AJ did apart from celebrate in his normal way?

Are you hinting at a mocking of a crash?

Are you suggesting he over celebrated in a pre meditated manor?
