I've always thought "The Chief" must be some sort of ironic title, rather like calling Charles Hawtrey "Muscles".

I thought it was a reference to this character:-

poor result, and in particular a poor 2nd half, but there were glimpses of a good team. Luongo hits the woodwork twice - if either of those go in the whole atmosphere different - talk of sacking the manager is too premature - if Warnock is giving his advice it didn't work tonight

Results don't lie how many goals have we let in this season?

There were glimpses from some quite good players like Luongo and Phillips (at this level). We don't look like a team imo. Ramsey should be making a team out of these players.

Agree about Luongo''s 2. But there were only occasional flashes of good play, agree it was mostly cræp. The balls out of defence were appalling. Apart from Hall the defensive players need replacing, Tozser needs someone quicker next to him (Luongo?) and a hell of a lot of gelling needs doing thoughout.

Look at the table - 11th - none suggesting there are not problems, but not convinced a new manager will change anything - haven't we been down this road too many times in the past few years to know it's not a magic pill.

Club can't afford a new manager and all the cost of payoffs, staff, new players etc. etc.

it's not just about one individual leaving, it's complete overhaul - we don't have the budget for that, and on current form we are not going to be relegated. This season (for all the excitement of Charlie, Matt and Leroy staying) was always intended to be consolidation and trying to build something... there is a saying, "if you do what you always do, you'll get what you always get" change doesn't bring success for QPR... we have tried that over and over again - I think we need patience and time to let the manager get things right... there are signs... chuck it all away now and we start over again - what's the guarantee that things will be better?? Because if there isn't one we could end up in a far worse spot.

A new low for the QPR faithful.
First of all, huge respect to the travelling fans as I sat in the comfort of my armchair.
Did any of those players do anything worth commenting on today?
No vision, no passing, no passion, too many hoof balls, clumsy challenges, no display of individual skills and no united team, playing as cohesive unit with the common purpose of scoring goals.
A modern day low. I'm not sure if it's as low as Vauxhall Motors but it feels like it tonight.
More worryingly, I now agree with those who feel there is something(s) wrong at the heart of the club. I hope there are people who know what that is and have the wherewithal to put it right. Just sacking Ramsey, as now seems inevitable, ain't gonna put this right.
Rant over. Written in misery. Might feel different in the morning.

That match should of been 0-0 and forgotten about. I haven't seen a match like that for many years

Ugly game plan Chris well that's on the money

Both our chances were not constructed they just happened
There was little football played tonight by either team

No clear cut chances for us

Have to move on

Tighten up at the back
We will score goals
and be safe

no game plan
No consistent style.
No desire
No composure
No confidence

Really wanted CR to work but seeing him on the sidelines he seemed in a daydream. I think he will offer his resignation

Too many long & high passes & not enough quality on the ball, Henry terrible game & can someone tell why he's not giving fräulin game time, stunned the way we are playing.

thanks lads, thanks Chris, spoiling the weekend with a Sunday football display of long throws, hopeful flick ons and general shi*ness.

agreed on the long throws... no pace just high loopy throws that are meat and drink to a decent CB - someone else commented that going 2 up front and letting JET take the throws was daft... hopefully a lesson learned there

JET appeared to have no appetite for any 50/50 balls - always backing off from making any sort of challenge that could have won the ball.

It's becoming increasingly difficult to watch us play.
I'm now firmly of the opinion that CR has not improved us one single bit. We looked clueless again tonight. No pressing, no work rate, no passion and worst of all no team cohesion.
Our movement was lethargic and really didn't open them up at all.
I'm all for patience and consistency but not at any price.

As a footnote. I have a 12 year old son who is more of a leader than that donkey Onouha. He should be let nowhere near out first team.

If no sacking of at least manager and preferably director too then we have no chance of giving Derby a game. Changes needed tonight so can have Time to effect changes, for me I'm starting to think Pearson.
