Given the long list of Bompey injuries, I can only see this as a home win, with the degree of "ease" being down to who scores the first goal. If they get it, I can see it being quite torturous to watch, as they chase everything and throw bodies in front of shots etc, but we should have enough to come from behind. Trying to decide what time to leave home. I live near the Central station, and don't want to be held up by all the Zimmer frames and mobility scooters en route.
All Saints Day - Will the club be doing it's regular one minutes applause to remember those who have passed in the last year?
I hope we aren't cautious with it being a derby - i.e trying to have extremely high possession and keeping the tempo too slow. Holding the ball too long in defence etc. I really hope this doesn't happen and we attack them 100%. No need to be cautious, we are better than them and they don't offer much threat without Wilson.
I read that Sunday will be the first time Andrew Surman has been back to the club since his transfer in 2009 to Wolves. A lifelong Saints fan and he still lives here. He was sold to make some money for the club, so I hope we give him a good reception. http://www.theguardian.com/football/2015/oct/30/bournemouth-andrew-surman-southampton http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/news/bournemouths-andrew-surman-admits-leaving-6737924 http://www.dailystar.co.uk/sport/football/473103/Bournemouth-Andrew-Surman-Leaving-Southampton-tough
