I like it JK. Are you going to update it as the season goes on? :emoticon-0100-smile

It is very much in the balance, but I still think our performances have been better than our results would indicate, and I doubt that is true of many of the other seasons in the table.

One worrying thing is that I don't think any of us could say we've had a difficult start either, and it's probably the easiest start in terms of the first ten games that we've had in the top flight.

Very much so. Other than the first game of the season, West Ham away and Saints away, I quite liked the look of the fixtures - No Arsenal, Spurs, Man C, Man U, Chelsea to be seen.

Once again, as with last season, our home results are not good enough and we definitely have not got what was deserved in a good number of games.

That was exactly my concern when we came away from those first six games having dropped arguably as many as 5 points.

We really need to keep the points ticking over.

I'm already set to go down,so anything is a bonus from here on in :) it's a nice way to live a season. We had a really easy start, and we played well, but dropped way more points than we deserved to. Now we are playing the worst football I've seen under AN, and we have a the big teams to come. I'll try to enjoy the rest of our season in the sun. As long as we don't get humiliated. I will still want AN if we are in the championship next season. We just didn't buy the players we needed, like the last few times we were here. If we bounce straight back, I'll be ok, but it's a really risky game to play. If we go down and sell a load of players...League 1 wont be far off again.

I was thinking that. Can Mourinho last until we get to play them?

Even under Jose, they will beat us. The only player showing some balls is Willian. Their set-piece taker. And where is out weakest point?....Doesn't matter is Chelsea are useless and low on confidence. We can have 70% possession as usual, we can have double their shots as usual. Willian Has got them out of jail a lot this season. A good crosser or set piece taker is all you need against us. You could play without a GK and still sneak a 1-0.

We've already beaten Bournemouth, CT, so only 18 points to play for there. Traditionally, we've been able to raise our game against the big clubs and I think we'll pick up the odd surprise result this season (like we did at Liverpool and West Ham).

Interesting table JK but not overly sure of the conclusion. I am in agreement with the above in that we should have beaten Stoke, West Ham and got a point from Leicester and West Brom (at least) which would have yielded another 6 points and made a huge difference. To avoid the drop we are going to hasve to get some points from ganes that we normally wouldn't and have to start winning at home.

    I've updated the OP.

We've now had a poorer start than in Lambert's season and both of Hughton's seasons.
