Now I've thought about it more we're playing a team who we really should be beating. Harry needs to play as it's obvious he has the ability. I'd stick Harry in.
Good interview but how ****ing stupid are some reporters "Will you play the same team against Man City" It's in December you muppet !!!!!
The more I consider the Man City game the more I think we have a great chance of a shock. For sure a no pressure game for the Mighty Tigers.
He forgot Jarrod Bowen's name, that'll go down well. He also came from Hereford, not Newport. I don't really know what to do about the CB position. On the one hand, Alex hasn't done anything to warrant being dropped, other than picking up an injury. On the other hand, given the level of opposition and the quality of attacking player that MK Dons have, it's a great opportunity for Harry to stake his claim. I mean you can't really ask much more of him, SB has told him (and the other cup players) to go out and impress him and they have done. If they then don't get the reward for their showing then it's going to piss those lads off and I don't think that's fair. If Alex isn't 100%, he shouldn't be playing when we have a fully fit Harry Maguire waiting in the wings. He'd only have to come off after 60 mins and that's us a substitution down.
Yeah, in fairness to the journo I think what he was trying to get at was whether Bruce would be playing his perceived second string, the Jak, etc. To be honest I think it was a fair question.
Yeah, I thought about that but I figured it was so obscure that he couldn't possibly get confused about it.
Comparing Alex Bruce to Harry Maguire is like comparing Chris Burke to Demarai Gray. Maguire has tons more ability, he just needs to get more experience at higher levels well protected on the bench.
