Im getting the exchange and mart thread unstickied to free up a space. We could do with a handy help and tips thread for folks to find things easier. Do you fancy doing it?

crumble bungle has put a pic on, well fook me senseless, cheers lads oh, thats me having a sit down after a walk in the lakes
just getting ready for night out, if i can remember how i did it ill pop another couple on over the weekend haha
Nice one mate That's some good gear you have there ........ I did 2 days going over the Cheviot, last year, in flip-flops and an anorak
It's the footwear that's key isn't is mate? My boots weren't great 'cos I find it hard to treat mesel .......... our lass 'put her foot down' and bought us both top boots for next year. She did the Cheviot, with me, and it was incredible spending the night up there. I thought that's where you were at first glance 'til I spotted the lake.
Spec savers my arse, £302 for a pair of glasses. Cheaper at asda but the girl who works there is a big fat sweaty swamp donkey who's breath is worse than my curried garlic sweaty fart
Get them glasses for £20 mate, then it is worth a spoons shag. Just tell her you have a phobia about looking at faces and you are Billy Graham's son..
Love the lakes, going again next year. Use merrils for my shoes, like walking in slippers. Not stayed out in the hills but me n the wife met a loner up there who lived in a tent in the lakes during winter and moves up Scotland for the summer, very well spoken fella who just decided he'd had enough of the rat race, good on him if that's you but I like my creature comforts lol
My son is the one who enjoys the sleeping out so we go along with it because we like the walks. It was around 26 mile so that's tough when you're carrying enough food & water plus your camping gear. We did about 24 mile going over Pen Y Ghent anarl and it was bitter cold at night but you could see all the stars ......... magic that was.
In the summer when its warm me and our lass sleep out quite a lot in the Lakes and watch the stars and listen to the frogs croaking their heads off, mind you we are only in the garden.
