Many would agree there but us Toon fans have moaned for ages about lack of comms from the club.
Now we have comms from the club we are collectively moaning once again.

    http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/fo...ea-for-unity-ahead-of-Portsmouth-contest.html

"The interim Newcastle manager 'made a public appeal' for members of the so-called Toon Army to get behind his team when they face Portsmouth at St James’ Park in what is being billed as the club’s biggest game in a generation.

However, the club website has surprisingly revealed that tickets for the game remain available throughout the 52,000-capacity stadium despite the Geordie icon’s heart-felt pleas for fans to roar his team onto victory."

"Portsmouth are unlikely to be supported by a huge number of fans tonight but the empty seats elsewhere – including the expensive ones in the money-spinning corporate sections - will come as a disappointment to the club but signal disenchantment with the club’s slump in fortunes."

So in essence you're pointing out that fans vacated for a short while, probably claiming to never go back again but ended up doing exactly the opposite.

Remind you of anyone? The only difference is that the fans that didn't go to one game probably didn't have a mental breakdown on a forum, unlike your good self.

    Alan Shearer

    ✔@alanshearer

Call me old fashioned, but I'd rather we won matches than sent open letters!

Glad you explained this one for me. It was almost Fredoresque in its lack of relevance to the thread - or am I missing something.

Ah got it now - good spot. You should have started a new thread though - "Alan Shearer is a hypocrite". You obviously spend a lot more time reading Mag stuff than we do - are you sure you are not a closet Newcastle fan?

Both Streeve, little tuft on forehead McLaren, and Coco have issued open letters to fans...what a meltdown..

Definitions....the melting of a significant portion of an nuclear-reactor core due to inadequate cooling of the few elements, a condition that could lead to the escape of radiation.

.....a quickly developing breakdown or collapse: a bond-market meltdown; the meltdown of a marriage

    A
sudden loss of control over one’s feelings or behaviour: My toddler had a meltdown when I tried to leave the house. or another example could be a Newcastle Supporter, m(n)ag losing to Sunderland 6 times in a row

Isn't it lovely all these Sunderland fans coming to visit us?

Its almost they've all grown a set over the last week. Some would say its all a bit weasel like, but me, I welcome their engaging input. They are now trawling the news old/new to keep us updated on all things Newcastle. Oh to be popular.

Don't know how it works at your club but us lucky Newcastle supporters who are registered on the website get one of these every week - its called communicating with your stakeholders. Something we hadn't experienced under previous managers so a nice change. Steve is getting a little less formal each week which is a bit disconcerting:

He will be calling me on the phone soon if this carries on. I am sure Big Sam will soon catch on. Has he yet mentioned to you all how lucky you are that he was getting bored and so decided not to hold on until Rafa was sacked.

I haven't received Colo's next missive yet - I think he uses a 2nd class stamp or it takes longer as they have to translate it from Spanish and now that the tea lady has left they are having to use Google translate.
