Soto has just signed a new contract and Insua is worth a few quid, the rest are not up to much and it's the wages that are the problem not their transfer value.

The owners have forked out 100M so i'm not complaining.

I'm not a fan, but will be happy if he proves me wrong. Don't see him playing much anyway Suarez and Carrol will start with Kuyt as back up.

Its being widely printed in several papers with direct quotes from your boss. Anyway Liverpool fans on your site are talking about Sergio Agüero signing cause the odds have been slashed on Sky Bets. <doh> Thats hardly a trustworthy source is it?

You put out information for discussion (and yes for some banter) and the Liverpool fans come on here and throw insults.

But if you read the thread properly people say that Aguero joining is very unlikely, just people living in hope!

Quotes from a newspaper!!! Are you really that naive?

We are clearly in the market for a LB and possibly a CB, so that ****'s on your idea doesn't it <doh>

Hardly an insult Constcrepe, more like banter imo.

I would prefer if we sold him and let another team feed him up!

What I find rather funny is you directly correlating the fact he says "It depends on whether people go" as we need the funds from these transfers.

Whereas if you actually look at the market prices we're asking for all of those players, even together it wouldn't amount to even 20m. Which clearly means we need them off the wage bill, and considering the size of our squad at the moment, I'm not surprised he wants more people out before we get any new ones in.

I never said Agüero would sign, quite the opposite. I rarely believe the papers but I am more inclined to take notice when several all print direct quotes from the source. You have to sell before any more signings are likely.

Your owner probably is quite concerned about the wage bill but nevertheless your boss has stated that further signings are unlikely at this stage. There is a considerable amount of dead wood at Anfield that needs to be removed.

    You know the owners personally?

We all know our wages bill has to be reduced, but if the right player comes up before we sell anyone we will clearly sign him. Our owners have money to spend if need be but would obviously rather sell a couple first. That is basic business, come on Constcrepe surely you can do better than that?
