Yeah. It's a bit harsh isn't it. I love all the old Italian cannibal films and Roth has done a decent job with his version. Bit ott though.

Imagine what the Yanks would have made out of the taking Pegasus bridge operation though Comm.

Imagine if the yanks had their own falklands war.

A small war. Thousands of miles away from home. Had to fight alone and WON.

Even hollywood hasnt got that much imagination.

Ah but they had there own issues with the dangerous Grenada island so there invasion was better. Love to see a Hollywood version of what led to that.

Just got in from watching Jimmy bond, not as good as last bond film and few scenes are just wrong.
Pretty disappointed with it but the wife loved it?

It was so slow and dated. Barely anything actually happened.

I haven't seen it yet but I don't mind if it's a bit old fashioned. I don't think there's any CGI at all in the film which suits me, getting sick of excessive computer imagery in modern films.

We've all been to see it in MK tonight.

The young'uns were really disappointed with it. I thought I'd enjoyed until they start pointing out all the bad bits :(

Like when he undoes Monica Belluci's dress and you see her bare back. Then she's lying on the bed in a corset!

    Great cinema at MK though!

Watching Bullitt right now. Certain it's been mentioned in this thread earlier, but one of the truly great, underated movies. Dialogue very smart, and kept to a minimum. Perfect characters. Fast cars. Gangsters. San Francisco. Steve McQueen and Jackie Bissett.

The last movie that left me at the end just going 'holy ****' was The Hurt Locker. Awesome movie, Renner should have won the Oscar for that performance. For a film to hit you right in the feels, le Bella e vita. Italian, but such an eye opener. Really looking forward to the new bond film, I am not really a harsh critic, so long as it keeps me entertained for 2 hours I'm happy

Agree, that's what I meant about the scenes being wrong.
Like when Blondie went to bed pissed up and she gets up in a nice nighty quite sober?
The fight on the train and bond ain't got so much as a cut lip?
Basic stuff to get wrong in my opinion.
