Unfortunately it looks like it's the 'other' city, his parent club on the blue side of Manchester...

According to Tweets from his Sister-in-law last night, he's going to have to see out his contract there.

This must feel just great after his recent experience of having to play against the mighty Altrincham in a friendly for the reserves over the weekend in front of 1200 fans...

I really hope we can put something together on this - if for no other reason than Craig shouldn't have to go through this as a player of his stature, who still has so much to offer at the top of the game!

But recent comments over the fortunes of another want-away striker on the books at The Etihad stadium, spelt out the character of their manager as someone who is unlikely to buckle on anything he decides is going to happen his way or not at all.
Maybe the fact that the Tevez deal is now off could have an impact, as they will be running out of space to put all their strikers soon, but that's more about clutching straws than anything else...

The longer it goes on the more chance we have of getting him back although Villa fans on Talksport this morning mentioned him as someone they would like to see bolstering their squad. Lerner probably wouldn't want to pay a fee but could cover a bigger percentage of his wages on loan than we could.

Might also be attractive to Craig as only 2 hours drive from home.

I think Man city take the p**s TBH. Adebayor , Bellers and Wayne bridge, fantastic players and experienced and yet they seem to be stuck in a rut. Adebayor is looking at going out on loan, don't know anything for bridge and then there's bellers who will look at being stuck there for one last season. Hope we can sort this situation out. <ok>

It's a game of nerves at the moment.
Man city want him off their books and Bellamy isn't shifting till he gets a deal out of them.
Still as much chance of getting him as ever but it will go to the wire i believe.

what do man city want to do? they wont let him go to any top 10 PL team, thats for sure. he wont go to celtic or any team abroad because he wants to stay near his family.

the only realistic option is that he comes here on loan again, what good does it do to anyone to have a player of bellamy's class training with the reserves? thats just criminal. probably wales most important player tossed into the reserves because city wont sell him to a rival.

Mancini has proved how stubborn he is by digging his heels in over the Tevez affair and has proved he will keep an unhappy player on big money rather than be seen to be giving in.........if Craig digs his heels in and says he's not going to anywhere but Cardiff, well it's a case of who blinks first, CB's wages, whilst big money are peanuts to these guys......what might help is if CB, Tevez, Adebayor and Bridge are all rotting in the reserves, and the owners might think hang on £500K a week so this guy can prove a point, it's not as if they can be regarded as "strength in depth" if they are not in the 25 man squad, and tell Mancini to sort it out, if CB refuses to go anywhere but Cardiff they either get what they can from him from us, or cancel his contract........we know Mancini is stubborn, we know CB is stubborn,

how stubborn are the owners, we shall have to wait and see<ok>

Man city would like to give the players away due to the new rulings from FIFA but this shows up as another loss on the accounts so they are bluffing players in the hope they will settle for a transfer.

The deal is we wait and Bellamy waits till the end of the transfer market at which point they can only loan him where he wants to go so that means us or nothing...any reduction on the accounts will seem better than nothing then.

It is a desperate time for Bellamy because he can play in the premiership another year so if he refuses then it is for Cardiff he is doing it.

No matter what it brings so much pride back into football to know at least some players can do this for their home team.

If he decides to take the move in the prem instead of playing reserve football all Cardiff fans will support him 100%.

I would think they're more likely to cancel Bellamys contract than that of Tevez. As stated in a postiing above I also can't the owners allowing such high profile players rot in the reserves whilst paying them in excess of 50k per week let alone 90k! But the football world is a strange place to be so who knows.

man city have more money than sense so all them players will be forced to play reserve football unless someone comes in for them, as bells value has dropped to £4million then he will be the first to leave before the transfer window closes. its the wages that puts other teams off and you can bet he wont play for cardiff with a big pay cut, unless man city does the same deal as last season then bells will either go to who will pay him the most or he will stay at man city.....
