Firmino must play central, Tex as an impact sub for now, Ibe will add directness and pace down the wing. I'd like to see a 4231 more often.

    Henderson Lucas
    Ibe Firmino Coutinho
    Benteke

Lallana was playing in the lower leagues at Texeira age and he's done alright for himself. Give Texeira chance, but not starting v Chelsea.

He did ok against a very poor Bournemouth. He's got no PL experience, he's 23.

Coutinho, Firmino, are the 2 main players he'll be up against for that position in the hole. I'd love to be wrong, but I just can't see him being a big player for Liverpool. He's the same age as those 2 (I think??). People tend to forget that I think. But for me, if the lads got any sense he should move on.

Prove me wrong Tex - can't see it though in reality.

So out of the four, do you think Lala and Tex will be away next summer?

Out of the 4, if we had to keep 2 it would be Coutinho and Firmino easily imo.

Of course I'm no Klopp so I don't know what happens behind the scenes, but surely those 2 get a spot before Tex - It's unfortunate for him, but he simply has better players up against him.

I thought Tex played well and showed more than coutiniho has recently. Also makes runs into the box most of our midfield don't do this.

I'm willing to give Texeira a chance at wide left or right in the league. Just not v Chelsea.

Who do we want in the next round then?
Get a home game and avoid city and I am happy, wouldn't mind Everton.

That's the trouble though, people keep saying 'recently' - Coutinho is simply going through a bad patch. The minute he gets his game on Tex will be cleaning his boots!

The only way for Coutinho to get his game on is to play him, so you just can't drop him!

Lucas is such a calming influence on the team. He can control the game brilliantly

I don't disagree, but I do think that Tex has a place here and can play deeper more effectively than Coutiniho. Tex would have been playing for the first team far more if it wasn't for the broken leg. I'm not saying he is better than Firmino or Coutiniho, just that he has a place here.

Tex, he can develop far more than Allen and he isn't far off Allens level.
