No agree I was being stupid, sorry. I will just say though that if we didn't have the monarchy, I wonder what may have gone on in the past. you know some leaders having to much power from any party.
Bit of a favour to ask - just got Fable played on 6 Music - can you guys go to the site and click the musical note beside her track? It adds it to their playlister (basically makes it look popular to them!) All helps! http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b06jg5g6
Done. Still 3rd. Shame it doesn't show how close we are to getting her up a place. I think I've managed to miss this song somehow, I'll give it a listen later when I get the chance.
It's so great all this, but here are the vagueries of such things - for us to really push on, we need support from BBC Introducing in the South which is the local version. She's getting national radio play, but not getting played on the regional station because what's played there is looked after by ONE PERSON who doesn't "get" her! Grrr.....
Something that is so varied and subjective being decided by one person. Makes perfect sense. If it's going to be one person, surely they have to be open minded and give a variety of music a go to see the reaction from the audience. Sounds a frustrating game. Good luck!
That's a situation many people have suffered over the years. I'm slightly surprised your BBC Local Radio area wouldn't embrace her music though. Mind you, I can't see where she'd get on Solent either. They might interview her and play a track or two, but then they wouldn't play her music afterwards.
Corbyn just nailed Cameron at PMQs. His best performance yet. He started slowly, but this was good. He asked Cameron six times whether people would be worse off in April 2016 as a result of Tory policy, and Cameron repeatedly refused to answer and went on to talk about his 'long-term vision' and basically said to wait and see in the Autumn Statement. Corbyn didn't let up and kept asking the question. Cameron floundering all over the shop.
He's doing exactly what an Opposition Leader should be doing. Good for him. At present, they may not get elected with Corbyn as leader but they make an effective opposition while he is.
