Further to the post above, the Board will ask the AGM to authorise turning the current and any future no-fees, interest-free loans into equity (shares).

The latest judgement on the 'Big Tax Case', 04/11/2015.

SECOND DIVISION, INNER HOUSE, COURT OF SESSION

OPINION OF THE COURT delivered by LORD DRUMMOND YOUNG in an appeal to the Court of Session by THE ADVOCATE GENERAL FOR SCOTLAND Appellant; against a decision of the Upper Tribunal dated 8 July 2014 in relation to assessments to tax made on
    (1) MURRAY GROUP HOLDINGS LTD; (2) MURRAY GROUP MANAGEMENT LTD; (3) THE PREMIER PROPERTY GROUP LTD; (4) GM MINING LTD; and (5) RFC 2012 PLC (in liquidation) (formerly The Rangers Football Club PLC)

If Rangers had been 'liquidated', how come Rangers' Oldco is cited as a contestant in this Case ?

From AVillaFan, Scottish Football thread, my answers to questions posed.

A company has the 'legal personality' which enables it to enter into contracts, etc, Dimitri.
The 'stripping titles' and 'admin' are the delusions of fantasists, such as the character Patrick cited. *

What intrigues me is this : who pays the tax ?
If the players' pay slips showed tax deducted, even though it was not, which is what happened with Whyte, then the employer pays, because the tax shown as 'paid' was not paid by the employer.
With the EBTs I do not know what, if anything, was shown as deductions, so I go by the logic of income.
If the monies paid were income, then the relevant income tax will have to be paid by the recipients of that income.

    * Says Chris McLaughlin, Celtic 'fan' and professional ****tard.

I see some folks are still conflating 'company' and 'club'.

Celtic has 3 operating companies, so what one of those three companies do Celtic Fans support ?

Methinks they support the Club, irrespective of its company structure.

'Patrick' is a Villa Fan, who posts on AVilaFan, Ciaran.

He also plays the 'Celtic Fan' role, although he might just be doing that as a wind-up.

His previous Username on AVillaFan was 'Conman' !
