Just no. These little things are just part and parcel of football. There is no better feeling as a defender than shepherding the ball out to the annoyance of an attacker. We are trying to perfect football in terms of what is a foul and isn't, instead of just accepting the human error and grey areas that make for great discussion.

Colo was a little bit exuberant with the shoulder. 50/50 for me and he was stupid to make it that way. If he had stepped in line and let Fletcher run into his shoulder, nothing given. He made it 50/50 for me. I think you then have to accept when that doesn't go your way.

The red card is obviously a massive obvious error and this has been acknowledged. **** happens, you get rough decisions now and again, no point whining about it.

 

There has also been many so called experts who have said the sending off was correct, so somehow you have managed to get three together who didn't. My football knowledge is solely based on many years of watching and playing the game, and I stand by my statement that I was shocked and amazed that it was overturned. This is probably unique as far as I know for such an obvious penalty (that is not in dispute) when the victim looked odds on to bypass the keeper and have a shot into an open net.

We have a difference of opinion, that's all. I don't think anywhere I've said "the whole world hates Newcastle". Just pointed out that the fact they've admitted a game changing error took place which obviously impacted the outcome of the game makes it hard to swallow.

The other five were easier to accept because we were **** in all of them, this one was difficult to accept because the referee ended up as the game changer.
