Good Morning Everyone, With Leeds desperate to solve their goal scoring crisis, they could have done a lot worse than Gary Hooper. The 27 year old forward was signed by Norwich for 5m a few years ago. Yesterday he signed on loan with the Owls until January! That's two forwards Sheffield Wednesday have pipped us to. The other being 3m capture Fernando Forestieri. Given the option would we rather have Hooper and Forestieri or Wood and Antenucci? Are Sheffield Wednesday living within their means? Who's the bigger club? Does all the talk of Leeds being (or not being) a big club p**s you off? Does unfair expectation follow the players around due to this? Does size really ratter? Are we more or less likely to attract players of a certain caliber to the club whilst Evans is in charge? We must not forget that Cooks contract runs out at the end of NEXT season. Can anyone realistically see him signing a new contract with us? If 10m was on the table now, would you accept it?

Gary Hooper is average really. He got 12 goals in the Championship last year and I suspect Wood will get more than that, even if he is a lump of ****.
Morning all. Looking forward to the game on Thursday. For me this one needs to be a turning point in the season. I'm afraid we are a mid-sized club now. With a slightly above average history of a top flight club. I used to read the YEP comments under lufc articles. There would always be Wendy wind-up merchant talking about the size of the club's. Looking at a one club city with a 24k average vs a two club city whose combined average is currently over 40k. What does that say?

Morning all. We have who we have and I doubt Evans dipping into the loan market will change things much. As average as they are, wed better hope our two strikers and goalie remain injury free. This season, like so many, is about hanging in. Cant believe some of the daft rubbish written last night about the PL teams getting beaten and people believing the gap between the Pl and Championship is closing. Its not, they played mainly reserve teams. The cups have become a farce with the weakened squads on show
