Heed has given me an idea....... so which songs do you want played at your funeral (if any)?

I'd go with these babies... in this exact order:

    'Canto Della Terra'- Andrea Bocelli

'November Rain' - Guns & Roses

    'Masterplan'- Oasis

    and to walk out to......

    'Don't Worry'- Bob Marley

    I have odd tastes.......

    My Classical piece

This shows my arrogant sense of humor

Then a couple of party tunes at the end.

I've been to a funeral where this was played as the last song. Everybody started singing it when it came on.

I reckon I'd just dispense with all the speeches and all that bollocks and just have a song for each period of my life to describe my experiences.

Bit of Pink floyd for the school years:

Maybe a bit of Creedence for the crazy period most have from 17-25

Meeting the missus and time with her, its not all plain sailing and requires a bit of hard work (especially when one knacker won't settle down...), bit of Jimi for that

Song about the birth of the littleun, something like

    TO BE CONTINUED...

I've always thought the outro to Layla by Derek and the Dominoes would suit a funeral.

I want my body to be spring loaded, so when the organ sets the tone with it's dreary melancholic ****, everyone is in tears (obvs) and then... "well I guess it would be nice... If I could touch your body" And my torso bursts through the coffin with a zombie mask on!

I'd like to rise from the coffin to the tune of AC/DC's "Back In Black" :)

Best to have them chosen, you never know when they'll come in useful
Lets face it, you don't want any old crap playing whilst the curtains close around you
    Choose well......<ok>

These are my Three Funeral Songs

    Up First
Because The Night - Patti Smith Group

    Followed by
Just Like Fred Astaire - James
(I just hope I don't get run over or that ones a crock)

and to close proceedings, I chose
Sit Down (the Original Version) - James
