Doesn't surprise me that, I recognised Atwell without knowing who the ref was so for them to keep calling him the wrong name sounds about right
Good to see that Brucey toned down his comments after having a rant about with officials with Burnsy last night (Burnsy warned him about not getting himself a fine when he went to talk to the other media after the game)... "We made eight changes and beat a Premier League team, which was terrific. "There were some decisions that I have to say were erratic. Maybe that's best put like that and I'll keep it at that. "I would get into trouble if I tell you my real thoughts. "But some of the decisions we had go against us I just thought were awful, if I am being honest, but there you go."
100% agree Peter, plus due to a ****ing ridiculous attention seeking decision made by a person who is clearly not fit to referee Chuba is now, totally unfairly, one yellow card closer to a ban. Obviously a red can be contested but not a yellow. Where is the justice from the Football League? Are totally inept referees like Atwell just going to be allowed to carry on regardless? The idiot should be made to be accountable, everybody else is, from fans through to the Chairman, so why not inept referees?
My issue with all of this stuff is that there is no simple measure to compare against. The cost of buying our adult season card starts higher than anyone else, but if you count the number of games that are included, it drops below some other clubs. If you are 20 the cost compared to some other clubs is not as high. If it makes my a **** for saying that, fair enough, but even the article from the Guardian has to add qualifying notes at the bottom of the chart.
I was more talking about all his hand movements which at times he was doing without shouting. Little bit of big fish little fish cardboard box going on.
What other decisions went against you now that TV replays have shown that Vardy was onside, Schwarzer's error didn't cross the line and the pineapple lad fell over fresh air?
Man Utd do as well. Every week they announce a full house but Manchester Police get the actual fixtures attending to gauge policing and if they had the right numbers. A couple of seasons ago despite every game being shown as over 74,000 only once did they have that many and that was for a European game. The highest actual attendance was 72,000 against Liverpool and the lowest 58,000 against Southampton. Sad that so many spend a fortune on tickets for Man Utd and Arsenal just so they can see certain games.
The officials were just ****ing useless from start to finish, giving fouls that weren't fouls, not giving fouls that were, giving decisions the wrong way etc etc. Akpom's looked like penalty too me and I was only about 15 yards away and assuming by 'pineapple' you mean his hair, then you've got the wrong player.
Akpoms was definitely a penalty, I assume the leicester defender tripped over thin air as well then. ****ing ridiculous. Maguire was also apparently 'assaulted' in the box as the commentator put it directly before the Leicester goal which was also apparently an absolute stonewall penalty. Can't comment on that as it wasn't shown in the highlights.
Ahh could have sworn the bloke on SSN said Hernandez. Either way, shameful. You must be up there with Chelsea and Palace in terms of bookings from simulation now?
I can tell you watched the incident really closely, then - you made a reference to someone's appearance that makes him very easily identifiable indeed, yet still got the wrong person. Personally I think Steve Lynex hacked him down.
Hull City Fans Forum on Facebook have lots of videos of the penalties from North, East and South stands
Last nights wasn't simulation and I don't remember a single player being booked for simulation this season, not even Elmo.
