I genuinely dont understand how someone from Hull can support another team when in direct opposition. Do they support Brazil when they play against England?

i have less of a problem with the liverpool/united fans from hull, who stick to supporting them against us....then i do with the ones who switch to supporting us when we get in the premier league,..there the ones who do my head in

Agree. When your local team has success you feel a part of it but when supporting a team at the other side of the country surely it can't be as rewarding.

Was that ever in doubt? There will be 1000's of the ****s in the home stands on Saturday, it'll be so bad you'll end up breaking out into a rash.

I remember being out on the piss in Hull during the Champions League final against Milan and every pub we came across was literally rammed with these bastards shamefully wearing the red shirt. Infact with the lack of interest from the city fans i wouldn't be shocked if we end up being outnumbered in our own stadium.

A real eye opener awaits for anyone who thinks differently on Saturday.

When I rang the ticket office yesterday, there was only E3 and E9 available in the east stand, the rest of the stand has sold out. Not sure what the north and west are like though

There should be a decent attendance in the West, us corporates have pre-seasons and cup games included in our season tickets, so it's free.

Would anyone kindly elucidate as to what a 'fake bin dipper' is and the origins of this terminology, please.

    I love this phrase.

I left Hull 13 years ago and hence sadly my Hullish linguistic knowledge is a little behind.

In return, I will advise you what a cheeselog is.

    Thanks
    James

Bin Dippers is not a Hull term, it's just a derogatory term for scousers and fake bin dippers are just fake scousers.

According to the Urban Dictionary - "bin dipper" aka scouser - Derived from their habit of foraging in dustbins for food, clothing and mating partners. <laugh>

Who's the bloke who makes the big City flags? Maybe he could make one for Saturday that says "If you're from East Yorkshire and you're not supporting Hull City AFC, you're a ****! Thank You"

Ironically, the one I saw mentioned a lot that makes flags (mail order) is a geordie. Ok, maybe not ironic.
