Yes and yes watched the new series opener (now) Seems to be the new thing, different stories each series. Suppose it means you don't have to deal with contract disputes as you can just recast the whole lot next time round.

There hasn't been a decent Bond film since Goldeneye. Am done with 007 to be honest. Can't stand Daniel Craig, he looks like a pouty bitch.
Still waiting for Ep2 tomorrow. Have seen a few comments online that after the average first episode it improves a lot up to the end of Ep3. I am avoiding spoilers but have read all the books so know the overall storyline.
D Craig... Not tall. Not dark. Not handsome. Drinks beer. Not so much a womaniser. Not as many cheesey one liners. Daniel Craig's bond isn't really bond anymore... At least not in the same vein as the previous bonds. That's not to say it isn't good. He's probably a more "realistic" bond. A grittier bond. I don't think his movies have been bad. Skyfall was a very good movie. He's just not the same as the other Bonds. The franchise has gone in a different direction. Gritty rather than comicy.
I've now located Breaking Bad on Netflix. Am I in for a treat? Also watched the Blue Ray version of Southern Comfort last night that my dodgy BS mate downloaded. I'd forgotten how good it ****ing was and the Ry Cooder soundtrack is stunning (on my new system). FFS
I've not watched it yet but I've never heard anyone say anything bad about breaking bad. Everyone has praised it. I'm almost scared to watch in case it doesn't live up to the hype (although I've been told the first few episodes went as good as the rest)
