    He should retire and become a pundit. He said Smalling is one of the top 3 centre backs in the world.

    I would pay to hear more of his thoughts.

    Surely a testimonial is a good thing as it will raise a lot of money for charity. You really should try and see the positive in certain things. Not everything is about your personal frustrations.

    Not sure about top three, that's a very big shout! He has been superb this season though. His major weakness was his passing which he's improved dramatically. He's one of those players who will never get the credit he deserves as he's not vocal or attention seeking. On current form he's far and away the best English centre half (perhaps that's faint praise).

    To be fair, he's been very good this season which bodes well for England.

    Still rate John Stones higher though.

    Stones will be the better player. He's a Rolls Royce like Rio was. As a pairing I think Smalling and Stones could be very effective both for club and country.

    Couple of brilliant goals to be fair.

    If Ox and Walcott are out for while it could cause Arsenal a fair few issues. Lack of pace up front without those two.
