Worst game of the season

 

****e all round really. Not too bothered if we go out of this competition, but I'd like to see us at least give this game a go. We look really poor so far.

 

We have injuries, but our B team really doesn't look very good, remember back in the day when our youngsters made a name for themselves in this competition. They have 45 minutes to still do that, don't see it happening.

 

There's a lot more dead wood on the pay roll than I thought.

 

Ffs, oxo and Walcott off injured within 15 minutes and that's most of our senior attacking threat dealt with already. Dissapointed for oxo as it was a chance for him to try and play himself into form. Neither injury sounds serious so hopefully they are back soon.

No idea how the foul on iwobi wasn't a red, on the replay you see just how aggressive the tackle was, he was tying to hurt him. ****. Hope he gets taken out at some point.

It's going to be really difficult to get back into this now. Maybe a set piece goal will get us back into it but it's been pretty dire so far. Flamini is the guy connecting the back and front and he just doesn't have that skill set. The youth are struggling to get a grip in the game. But we only have on sub left and not many options.

I'm thinking maybe monreal on, push Gibbs further forward, iwobi in field? Otherwise it's just youth to bring on.

 

Was thinking of making that sub too with Monreal, but with only 1 sub left, it is a risk because if we get another injury, then we will have to play with 10 men.

 

We have no-one in midfield able to bring everything together so we either need to go down the wings or go long to Giroud.

 

But it's not really deadwood, and that's what's worrying. We've got. French international who was keeping Sagna out of the side. An up and coming English youngster, an English international, a German World Cup winner, our top 2 strikers, and they've all looked poor, so we can't just blame Campbell (an experienced international, kamara and iowbi

 

Mert was poor for both goals I thought. He should of got his leg out and stopped the first and he was out of position for the second, though he did slip over.

Can't we just shake hands and give them this game now? Does anyone associated with Arsenal care about this match and trophy? Just shake hands and stop anymore injuries of our glass legged players.

 

Punished again. Really poor. I know it's only the B team but no excuses really. Credit to Sheff Weds though.
