Each thread to have a link provided from the main (sticky) thread This is just a suggestion and I'm open to any other suggestions for keeping you all updated.

Ron how accurate is the "radar" for entries? I only ask because Parlour Games is engaged on both Friday and Saturday at Cheltenham, but only appears on the Friday in your list (he is entered in the 4.30 on Saturday as well) My humble idea of having everyone monitor their own list and posting progress on the thread themselves, with me cross-checking results once a month and publishing a leaderboard, does seem somewhat fanciful (i.e. many folk will forget) so this kind of regular updating is much more efficient and will make for a much more exciting time of it through the winter. Thanks for the effort but please speak up if it gets to be too much work

On the alerts nass. But I'm collecting the info from the List of My Timeform horses on the Timeform Site. Maybe I'll take them from my email alerts. I'll have a look after dinner
Hmm; had a look at the alerts and if a horse is entered on different days I will get the alerts on different days (Ie the declaration dates will be different). The only way I can show all the future entries is to look at each horse/alert individually. That seems like something I can't guarantee to do every day. At least by showing the next race there is an alert that the horse is due to run so hopefully that will suffice. I will try to show the "Engaged" list every 4/5 days so it will catch the multiple entries. In the case of a horse having 2 entries on the same day, it might be confusing to show the venue. Might just add a warning on the thread heading.
I think it will take you to much time doing everything Ron. It will take long enough just keeping results updated. People will most likely know when their horses are running, and if not they can use one of the trackers.
The system is already in place Hawkeye. I only need to do it once a month for the scores and can do it retrospectively. The alerts I will do as often as I can to help those who can't keep track.

On reflection I think a separate thread for the 5 day declarations is not a good idea (unnecessary cluttering of the board) and no guarantee that I will be able to be around to ensure none are missed. Instead, I will, when around, post "Competition Alerts" on the appropriate daily thread. Again, no guarantees I'll be around everyday but I hope to not miss many. For the first month I'll produce League Tables fairly frequently on this thread (purely to make sure it is running correctly) but, wef end November, Tables will be produced monthly reflecting all results up to and including the last day of the immediately preceding calendar month. If it's OK with Oddy, I'll set up a new thread showing everyone's entries and post the monthly tables on there, or I can just tag the tables on the end of the already "stuck" thread. At any time anyone can request a report showing the breakdown of their scores (either via the competition thread or PM)
