Like BR before him Klopp will succeed or fail with his plans based on current players being able to adapt and improve to what he asks for and filling the areas with transfers that are failing. He hasnt (unlike BR, who to be fair at the start between PR bullshitting also stated it wasnt anything new) claimed he's reinvented the wheel! As you say Tobes/K/G its all about timing and the intelligence of the players on the field. When to use posession to rest (BR wanted that too) patience on when to go and extra effort to retrieve the ball or fall back and wait to counter. All managers want this balance; some favour more posession, some structered defence and some like Klopp on blitzing. It always fails if you don't have players smart enough to know what to do in transitions. Does Klopp currently have a squad with enough intelligent players to do it all without showing holes? I dont think so but BR got three years to figure it out, I'll give him the same time.
