I couldn't see a Premier League Club coming in for him so probably 2-3 million tops from a Championship Club. Maybe in Europe or the Mickey Mouse League. Who knows.
If Sherwood had stayed in his job, we might have got our money back. I'm not sure who'd come in for him now, but we'd probably still get a couple of million from someone.
There's plenty of Premier League players in their last six months of their contracts that have gone for a couple of million, even mediocre ones.
If Huddlestone is not in the team I don't think City will have to be too tempted to sell given Maloney, Diame and Snodgrass may be ahead of him on the bench.
Not being petty, sorry the point doesn't fit your view, it's called discussion, ffs. Roo was making the point about not just the goals he scores but the level he scores them at and so far he has a point; certainly far more in context that your comparison with two midfielders.
You must be. I'm meaning that it wont take a lot for City to sell him given the other midfield backup we have.
I was missing something, then I wasn't. Peter replied, but only after I'd edited my post. It was all very exciting.
Meanwhile, Peter, what's this about you being in contract talks with the club? please log in to view this image
Hope the game's as exciting tonight, either way I'm determined to 'do a Filey' and enjoy it whatever the result. Got to say though that I'll be a bit gutted if Huddlestone plays, and plays his usual game.
