I think the Falcao thing is blown out of proportion. He was surely just bought in to replace Drogba on the bench and hasn't cost us a fee. As long as fit and not suspended, Costa will always be first choice. We have much bigger problems than how good our 3rd choice striker is.
But Jose was the one who got the success going. It would be the equivalent of Poch taking your club to back to back titles now. I'm sure you'd give him a lot of grace after that. Jose's having a bad time, but wouldn't it be fickle to turn on him? He's a club legend. Faahhhkkkt.
This is the nature of football fans. They couldn't care less if he was some violent serial rapist as long as he brought the title and trophies to the club,
His fanbase is getting smaller by the day. If he was still being a douche but results were better, would we still be "sucking him off" I am not sure. I can only speak for myself and I can assuredly say I would still have issues with his behaviour, the results being dogshit compounds things tho.
Exactly, its lose-lose. If we all turned on him we would be accused of being plastic and not backing our manager when results go bad. We would be getting **** either way.
I think most genuine Chelsea fans want Jose to reign in the petulance/moaning and get on with the job of making us a top side again. We don't want the circus carrying on and don't want him sacked either. But he is good entertainment a lot of the time so I don't want him to completely go into his shell. The fact he winds up rival fans is one of his best qualities!
Indeed, I am more than prepared to let him stay if he agrees to shut the **** up and actually do his job. We know he is capable of it, lets not forget, despite what haters say, that he is one of the best managers in the world, without question. If he is going to continue gobbing off and smearing **** all over our club however, then he can do one. No one is bigger than the club.
I understand the loyalty factor..but even that should have a ceiling where a normal person with his principles intact would think 'enough is enough' And we can all have bad times. This guy however reminds me of a jilted dictator. I'll never forget Sadam being led up the gallows and him shouting ' I am your leader, the president of Iraq' as in how dare you...and that's what Jose has become like, all kept in context of course. Just using it as an example not getting into the politics.
Again lets keep it real, Jose hasn't been going around clubbing baby seals, or dumping toxic waste in the ocean, or cutting tax credits for the working class. He is talking **** about other managers and referees. He needs to shut up, but lets no pretend he is Satan. He over stepped the mark on the Eva incident and now he won't shut up about FA bias and Wenger. Yes, he is acting a dick, but not sure where the "principles" come in. He hasn't murdered or raped anyone. I just want him to shut up, do his job, and improve results.
Like I said. Let's keep it context and I have done. We are talking about football...actually no, we are talking about a personality trait. I never said anything about him being anything like what yourself is claiming that I may have referred to him as. However a personality is a personality....it's likeable or it isn't.....and surely his isn't...so I'm surprised at the adulation and backing he gets for this personality from other adults, just because he delivers trophies. Granted you have actually said your sick of his antics.
As I have said before though, Jose hasn't always been like this. Yeah he put his foot in his mouth once or twice before, but usually it was funny stuff he come out with, like inventing the term "Park the bus" which everyone uses these days. And his whole Black and Decker Shtick....hilarious. He was arrogant yet comedic, in a loveable rogue sort of way. Since this season started though, he is just coming across as bitter, tired and frustrated. Which is why my patience is wearing thin.
He's been like this for years. His behaviour at times when he was Real manager was appalling. Has any other manager in the history of football tried to gouge an opposition coach's eye?
I think he's got carried away with how most pundits and many fans bought into his self proclaimed hype about his actual intelligence levels..and he thinks he's quite an untouchable. The Spanish media put paid to that and he's been on the bricks of a meltdown ever since...and now it's going to pop. Should stick to the football Jose.
I cannot attest to his behaviour in Spain, couldn't be less interested in their ****e football league if I tried. I am going by his behaviour during his time at Chelsea, in both tenures.
Second time round at Chelsea he's been miserable and aggressive from the start. It's just gone to another level because he's losing and doesn't know how to cope with it. The guy's a bell end.
This. Remy should be ahead though and Falcao should remain a favour to Mendes. Thank god our favour to Mendes is not as much as his wages at United
