Does anyone know what wages Wayne Routledge is currently on. Newcastle have accepted Swansea's bid of almost £2m, but I think agreeing personal terms with him will be difficult, as he has already turned down QPR due to the fact that they couldn't agree on the terms. Swansea won't break their wage structure for him, so I'm wondering where that leaves him. It's even been mentioned that Newcastle will be stuck with him. What do you guys think of him staying. It sounds like you pay him so much that he would rather stay and take your money.
He's not one of our high earners, not sure how much he's on though. I'd be happy for him to stay, good squad back up - won't get in the first team often though so it's up to him whether he wants a first team place or not. Definitely doesn't seem like the type to stay at a club just for the money though.
Think he's going to Leicester to join Sven's revolution, they can afford to pay a bit more in wages. http://www.talksport.co.uk/sports-n...ident-snatching-routledge-under-swanseas-nose
Its not to do with his wages he hasnt asked to be transfered so hes holding out for compensation from nufc and they wont pay it so he wont go to another club says he wants to stay
