I'd love to see him in the Prem though. Imagine if he joined City and Ronaldo re-joined Utd to continue their rivalry...

If I had a choice I'd have Ronnie back for sure.

If I could pick one player in the history of MUFC to have in this team it would be Ronaldo, sorry, no Scholes, I mean Cantona... no definitely Scholes... or Ronaldo.

    Or Cantona.

    Scholes.

    Edit: Ronaldo.

    Probably...

    No Edit again:

    Best.

    Or Ronaldo.

Ronaldo, Scholes, Best or Cantona... any.

    But probably Ronaldo.

    FFS... make this stop!

If I supported a top club yep in a heartbeat. Here? I'd be concerned he'd put us out of business. If he was available within our means I'd have him all day long.

As long as he was happy in England which wouldn't be a certainty given how long he's been in Spain I have no doubt at all he'd be superb in the prem. He's like a better David Silva and he does alright.

Messi's actually very robust anyway for a small guy, he's great at riding tackles and staying on his feet.

That's why he's one of the best in the world. But even world class players can struggle with the transition. I think there's always a risk with any player regardless of ability.

Yeah you're right there's not a player in the world where there isn't an element of risk in moving to a new club, but if there was ever a safe bet of someone to succeed it's Messi.

You've included two on that list who played for Real Madrid.

Is that not the biggest step up in the world of football?
