We have quality in our team, but van gaal prefers to play safe, side passes, walk the ball into the net. We all know herrera likes to shoot from outside, but at the moment he is trying not to offend the boss and get relegated back to the bench, hence he has limited his shooting. We can't win anything with 10 men passing the ball all around. We need to take risks and that is out of van gaal's philosophy. I don't see us winning the league with van gaal, even if we sign Messi and Ronaldo. He would probably bench Ronaldo anyway because he loves to shoot at every opportunity. Sounds like you now have 2 Ray Wilkins' in Schweinsteiger and Schneiderlin under LVG ... ... I can understand your frustration ... very different at my club right now ... we often get bossed on the possession stats but rarely on the shots on goal ... against Southampton away, the week after they had blitzed Chelsea, we had 26 attempts on their goal ... loving it ... can't wait for each game to come ... we will obviously lose a few ... and mid-table safety (obscurity) is still the real goal ,,, but the entertainment value is well worth the admission fee ...
