Folks Radio Lancs down here are reporting that Mr Nzogbia is allegedly trying to disrupt his potential move to Villa, now get a load of this...he is holding out for us to come in !!!! according to Lancs Sports Desk. Whilst Iam fully aware that our forum is getting sick and tired of discussing this player, I thought id just pass it on...dont be shooting the bloody messanger !!

This was actually discussed yesterday marra, was reported in the MOnday papers, maybe it adds weight if local radio has picked it up, as they may have an inside line at Wigan.

We'll just have to wait and see, but i'm personally convinced there's £20million in a pot for Bruce, based on the Bent & Jordan sales, and the new additions including Elmo & Sessegnon.

This is more interesting when cross referenced with Apone's article.

That's direct quotes from Titus, saying he has been talking to the lad about us for a year, and he knows the lad wants to come, fancies the move.

It is getting tiresome, and i've never clamoured for us to sign Zog, but i certainly will admit he's a real talent, and whilst many are getting sick of the saga and thinking we should **** it off, my desire to see him here is starting to grow, for the first time.

I think having Zog and Sessegnon in the same midfield will be dynamite, and as we are clearly not looking for a left back, we need the width.

    Larsson - Gardner - Catts - Zog

    -------------Sess-------------
-------------Gyan------------- is a genuinely exciting front 6.

Here Here. Totally agree with this BB.

Like we discussed yesterday, I'm becoming more and more sure he'll sign for us

Don't care if I hear about him a million times as long as he signs.
Brucey is playing a blinding game from what I can gather. He's backed off and suddenly all we hear is how much Zog wants to come.

You wouldn't fancy many teams being able to keep that side out, 3 players in Gyan, Sess and Zog that can make someting out of nothing, Seb who delivers real quality into the box, and Seb & Gardner both capable of shooting fro range (as well as Zog and Sess).

There's goals in that side, and we haven't even started on Whickham yet!

I think if we get nzogbia that would definitely be it for our dealings and Sessegnon would be playing upfront with Gyan which I'm not opposed to with us having 2 big strikers on the bench if they are getting bullied.

    Larssen....Catts....Gardner.....Nzogbia
    ......................Sess(free as a bird)........
    ............................Gyan(sexy like cheese)...

Very balanced, good width and with Sess free to.roam he'll be a nightmare to mark.

Imagine it with two good pacey full backs, playing as wing backs, with each playing on his "strong" side thus enabling Larsson & N'Zog to form a 3 just behind Gyan when we attack!!

    4 - 4 - 1 - 1 becomes 2 - 4 - 3 - 1 very easily!

Would be almost unplayable if we got the right wing backs to support that 6.

I guess the budget might not go that far this year, sadly.

No not this year, but from now on we could just concentrate on bringing in the right 1 or 2 players to push us on, instead of having to rebuild the team every bloody year.

Hopefully next year, 2 wing backs will be all we need, and we can go big.

    Bosingwa and Cissokho...

    .......Bramble, Turner,
    Elmo....................Richardson

    ......... Colback,

    Larsson...............Zog

    ...........Gardner

    .............Sess

    .............Gyan

not sure on the defensive qualities of that team, but we would certainly score plenty of goals

Richardson?????????????? NNNNNOOOOOOOOOOOO, he's ****e and will never be a LB. Bardsley for me, every time, much more solid in defence and I always love it and shout shoot, when he gets his head down and runs at the opposing defence.
